just had an amount paid into my account, the only thing i have on going at the moment is a claim for credit card ppi, has anyone had a refund from lloyds tsb credit card ppi paid directly into lloyds bank account? if so what does the payment show as in the description? this payment shows as loansdirect? can anyone help with this?
I received a letter upholding my claim last week and they stated they would send a cheque or directly into my account. They paid my last ppi refund directly into my account. Hope that helps.:DCurrent loan £12,295, Overdraft £550, Natwest C/Card £1295, - AIM - TO SMASH THE JOLLY LOT

the successes on here give me such hope.......i have about 7 complaints in at the moment and i pray that i can one day some good news ! though the cynic in me says "dont be so ridiculous !!"
Do not give into that negative thought. I believe you will receive good news, if anything, it's the waiting that makes one anxious, however just know that it can take approx 6-10 weeks in some cases which is about right as the investigation has to be conducted and a decision made. Whatever happens, the worst outcome is that you weren't entitled or you disagree and let the Ombudsman deal with the case.The guys on here are amazing and they will keep you going. Good luck.

Im am now happy to say thanks to following the guidance on this website - I have sucessfully claimed back in total just short of £16,000 from RBS, MBNA and Tesco bank for PPI charges. I am over the moon.
Thanks again!::rotfl:0 -

Imagine my delight when I reached home to receive an acceptance letter from Lloydstsb for a credit card back in 2003 for £3k and change! I already received over £2k for a loan and they have been excellent in dealing with my claim.
Just have to sort out House of Fraser card, through Santander. Received confirmation that PPI was added to the card so sent off the form to the Dept and it was returned stating "no information relating to the account". :mad: Can you believe it? The credit data management team sent me a letter confirming PPI along with the card number and the Complaints dept sent me a letter stating they had no information. So i promptly sent the confirmation letter and asked for a response within 12 working days, this was back in early June, to date no reply. So I'm planning to send the jolly lot to the CEO showing the fact that obviously one dept doesn't talk to another:(. Sheesh!!
Great news about the Lloyds complaint. Can I ask what were your reasons for the complaint?0 -
Hi, only my second post on here but just rec'd some great news in the sum of £15000. Can't quite believe it. On a different note can anyone tell me what I should do if my eight weeks is up today with Halifax and still no response from them. I rang today and was told they would email the department who deals with the claim. I am going to ring again in the morning but would appreciate any advice.
Thank you0 -
Cant believe it.... been on phone to Natwest this morning and they have advised that claim has been upheld for my credit card! I am so happy, just got the never ending wait now to find out how much il be getting. It has been 8 weeks exactly and my claim was just that i never knew that PPI was optional... nothing more than that.... so to say i am surprised is an understatement! Thanks to everyone on here you are brilliant.

Hi everyone, I sent off a questionnaire to Barclays a week ago on my husbands behalf. He had a loan in the late 90s then kept topping it up each year, he was told he wouldn't be accepted without the PPI, we have no details only his old Barclays current account number. Anyway thought I'd give it a bash and just got a letter from Barclays with four reference numbers on! Rang them and they have forwarded the four policies to the decisioning team, I think the original loan was for approx £10k in 1998 and he topped it up by a couple of thousand each year for the next few years, we paid it off in 2002 I think, I have no clue how to work out any possible refund that may be calculated, any ideas? I'm trying not to get too hopeful but it's hard!0

My job gives me enough benefits which meant I didn't need PPI and basically I was paying out more monthly than necessary.Current loan £12,295, Overdraft £550, Natwest C/Card £1295, - AIM - TO SMASH THE JOLLY LOT

Well update from last week. Called Lloyds TSB last Wednesday 20th June, received the letter today from Lloyds confirming my complaint that they are now gathering information and will assess it further. However I have had two missed calls from a number which I don't recognise so not sure if this is Lloyds trying to contact me on the following number 01792 764610 but when I ring it back you can't connect to it. Has anyone else had this number call??0
