just had an amount paid into my account, the only thing i have on going at the moment is a claim for credit card ppi, has anyone had a refund from lloyds tsb credit card ppi paid directly into lloyds bank account? if so what does the payment show as in the description? this payment shows as loansdirect? can anyone help with this?
Hi there
Although a little time ago, it was that of loansdirect from what I can remember, however the last 2 refunds we received from them were paid by cheques.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi, I am new to this site and just wondered if anyone else was in the same situation as me.
I submitted a claim to RBS for PPI on my Natwest Credit card. On 18th May I contacted RBS as the 8 week time frame they had advised me I should wait to hear from them had expired.
When I spoke to them they advised that an offer letter had been sent to me on 8th May ..... It is now 24th June and I have still not received a letter from them despite ringing to chase the letter (4 copies have supposed to have been sent) I have checked that they have the correct address and they confirm that they do.
Of the 6 or 7 different people I have spoken to they have all given me different information in relation to the settlement figure and how it would be split (amount is still outstanding on the card)
I really dont know what else to do ??
Each time I ring them I am getting "fobbed off" with excuses such as the letters department are busy or the rework team cannot issue the letter for "x" amount of days as "the original" (copy) letter could still be held up in the post and I have to wait 10 working days .... again .... before they will even consider issuing another replacement !!!!!
aarggghh !!!!!

Hi Lilly
Blimey what are they playing at?
A suggestion is to contact your local MP and ask if they will kindly help on your behalf, this I believe have helped push matters.
Let the MP know of the current position, I imagine Mp's are used to dealing with these matters by now, so defo worth asking if he or she will help, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Cant believe it.... been on phone to Natwest this morning and they have advised that claim has been upheld for my credit card! I am so happy, just got the never ending wait now to find out how much il be getting. It has been 8 weeks exactly and my claim was just that i never knew that PPI was optional... nothing more than that.... so to say i am surprised is an understatement! Thanks to everyone on here you are brilliant.

Just got my NatWest response to a loan taken in 2004 and had paid off a few years back. I had the original documentation so knew the amount paid on PPI was just over £4K. What I had forgotten about until today that the loan was a consolidation of an earlier one.
Frustration was quickly followed by delight as they sent two separate offers in the same envelope for the two loans. I was a bit annoyed to see an initial offer of £1200 until 5 minutes later I looked at the rest of the paperwork (after I calmed down) to find another offer of just over £15k!
I'm still awaiting a response from Egg for a small loan and two credit cards (Mint and Virgin Money). Oddly enough I got a letter on June 16th from MBNA to say they needed more details and they included an empty questionnaire to be filled despite the fact I sent one originally. I then got another letter from them on the 20th apologizing that my application would take til mid July. I didn't respond to the original letter from the 16th as it appears the one from the 20th gave a specific date for a response.
Regardless, I'm very pleased with the response from RBS so off to the post office now to send back the signed offers.0 -
I get such a kick out of reading the success stories and that included last Friday evening before going home from work. Imagine my delight when I reached home to receive an acceptance letter from Lloydstsb for a credit card back in 2003 for £3k and change! I already received over £2k for a loan and they have been excellent in dealing with my claim.
Just have to sort out House of Fraser card, through Santander. Received confirmation that PPI was added to the card so sent off the form to the Dept and it was returned stating "no information relating to the account". Can you believe it? The credit data management team sent me a letter confirming PPI along with the card number and the Complaints dept sent me a letter stating they had no information. So i promptly sent the confirmation letter and asked for a response within 12 working days, this was back in early June, to date no reply. So I'm planning to send the jolly lot to the CEO showing the fact that obviously one dept doesn't talk to another:(. Sheesh!!Current loan £12,295, Overdraft £550, Natwest C/Card £1295, - AIM - TO SMASH THE JOLLY LOT
PPI Success: Lloydstsb loan £2,600 :T, Lloydstsb Visa Credit Card £3,2250
