I started my invesitgation into PPI on this site back in March. Have had one outcome with my bank account with Barclays who have refused to pay anything towards bank charges, which I have let go due to the amount of PPI and credit card claims I have now going. So this is my current status.
1. Egg Loan - PPI claim
2. Barclays Overdraft - PPI claim
3. Tesco Credit Card - PPI claim and charge claim
4. Mint Credit Card - charge Claim
5. SAR to Barclays - returned my cheque and a list of all account I have had with them including Egg and Barclay card. Have now put PPI claim in for an additional 12 accounts some of which I don't know if I had PPI but they have advised me to claim for these also.
6. SAR request to RBS - waiting response
7. SAR request to MBNA - waiting response
8. SAR request for Capital - waiting response.
Being a patient lady is definately a requirement for me however I am expecting some results by the end of June so watch this space.
PB.
Fingers crossed.;)

Sorry, another question from me.
Does anyone know how LTSB refund credit card PPI when the cc is still running? I've worked out that I have paid £5,400 in PPI until I cancelled it last year. I know they have to re-structure the account which should help my balance no end but what do they do with the refund? Pay it into my current account - also with LTSB - or do they just knock it off the outstanding balance?0 -

Funny because now in this time in my life I only have a mortgage as my only out going, learnt my lesson at last!!!
Very easy to do yourself, dont need a Claims Company taking 30%.
I stalk the postman every morning it is fanastic opening my mail now:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Good luck and well done to the success:T0 -

Hi
From what I am aware of (unless its different since my CC was resolved a few years ago), any remaining balance, they usually refund towards that (to bring down the balance), if anything remaining, plus interest should come back to you.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
We have had a great outcome with Barclays 2 loans taken out in 2003 2004 upheld £9.000 back !! Still sinking in:))
Also have just found out we have 3 more from 1996,2000 an 2001
An Overdraft ppi and mortgage.
I'm having a little difficulty with mbna, sent questionare, they said they hadn't received it,so they made a desision with no info( not upheld)
I asked if I could resend they said yes got another letter within a week not upheld. So I sent it to the fos, within 2 weeks I get another letter with a new ref no from mbna telling me they will make a decision in 28 days,I'm presuming this is the 2nd questionare I sent in an nothing to do with fos as I've just received confirmation fos have forms and they'll be in touch in 4 weeks!!oh I rang mbna yesterday just for an update and to see if they say anything about us having the same claim in under a different ref no and I'm to receive a letter next week from mbna I'm not holding out much hope though, Have no idea what's going on..and I don't think they do either.
Oh my partner has a barclarycard he's been told it has card protection not ppi we may have to sar but does anyone have info on this
Oh just to say I love this forum you have all helped me so much.0 -

Hi pbloynells, the same thing happened to me with mbna they said they hadnt got my form, anyway long story short they rejected claim so i sent to fos . I then got a letter from mbna saying i would have an answer by the 21/05/2012 . Then i got a letter from fos saying mbna have agreed to pay as a goodwill gesture .So will wait & see the outcome. Hope you also get same letter from fos as this is similar.0 -
