Can I assume this is linked to all my complaints or just the CC/ number that's on the payment ?

Why assume? Give them a call on Monday for clarity :)
    Defaultless as of 12th Sept 2012 :)
Listen here default Dave why don't you take your bullsh*t and stick it up your defaulted ar*e and then stick your defaulted credit report and stick it in your defaulted gob.

Or simply wait for the letter (which will probably arrive Monday, anyhow).

And if it doesn't arrive on Monday a quick call sorts out the confusion for you in 2 minutes.

    Thanks for the info.
  • I hate it when they send the offer letter AFTER the money has already been deposited! I suppose the reasoning is that complainants will be less likely to refuse the offer if they've already had it!
Only Lloyds will be able to confirm whether the "cc/reference" refers to some or all of your complaints. I expect you'll receive a letter in the next few days.:)

I'll give them a call on Monday, thanks. I've found that recently letters from Lloyds have dates on them that are 2+ weeks earlier than when I receive them!. I know they send by 2nd class, but I'm sure it sits somewhere in Lloyds for a week first.

I think all the Banks are guilty of this tardiness where PPI related letters are concerned.
I wonder why that might be?;)
Congratulations on your payout, by the way!:T

Hi all, had a response to my HSBC complaint. They have offered me £777.59. This includes interest and redress. I'm not going to send it back as have no paperwork at all. It took 8 weeks. Filled in form on website and sent it off with a letter of complaint.

    Good luck everyone!!!

    HSBC Credit Card Complaint
HSBC have written back to say that they uphold my complaint but have no records of how much was paid so are unable to give me anything back.

    Hi,

I was clearing out lots of old paper work as we are selling the house and I came across a strange document. I was horrified to see it was a PPI policy!

At first I panicked as I thought I never had one of these then I checked the date ....2005.

First I came on here to see Martins tips and advice and then I sent off the form from this site off to Welcome Finance with whom I had had the secured loan with. (luckily I re financed in 2006 and got rid of it)

1 week later they emailed me saying it was Bright Finance who the policy was actually with and they advised me that Bright Finance had ceased and I should contact the FSCA (?)

I checked their website and it confirmed that bright finance had indeed closed and claims were to be dealt with through them.

I re sent my form and a week later they sent me a pack to complete and re a copy of my policy and proof it was from Bright Finance. Luckily I had not burnt all of this in the clear out!

I sent it all away. I had paid around £46 a month for 16 months before I paid off th loan and had cancelled the policy back in 2006.

6 weeks later I get a letter from Deloittes who were handling my claim with a cheque for £2085!!!!

    Happy days.:T

Unlucky. Do you have no old statements from the period in question?
