If you did apply online, be warned the Bank will regard this as a "non-advised" sale.
But many Banks used a pre-ticked box for PPI up until Summer 2004, so if your credit card was taken out prior to this you may have a chance.

    Many thanks

Do you know if these used pre-ticked box?

I will start reason of mis-sell

    Agent/on-line application

Then carry on with reason of miss-sell

Do you think that would be ok?

Hi first time poster here :) I just wanted to say a massive thanks! After reading posts on here I decided to try and reclaim my Ppi on my Mbna cc as I believed I had good reasons for a valid claim for mis-sell but my main worry was that I had applied for the card online however after reading all the advice given out on here I discovered that the box could have been pre-ticked So finally I decided to give Mbna a call on the 11 th April and on the 14 th may I recieved a letter saying they have upheld my claim and I will receive a cheque for £1,284. within 28 days!

Thank you Money saving expert! I did everything step by step, filled in the forms and off they went.

My credit cards had also changed card companies in the last 4 years, but I still got the claims backdated,

I got over $1000 from Opus
    and over $1000 from MBNA

The money was credited onto my cards and it has brought down the monthly payments lots, thank you!

Just had a rejection letter from Halifax about my Credit Card stating they feel the ppi was sold fairly and I was given enough advice, At the time I was just told were to sign and not given any advice at all as I had no idea I had the insurance untill I received the statements each month and even then I though this was mandatory and part of the credit card charges. would this be sufficient enough to go back to them with do you think?

I've had my second complaint upheld!

    Barclays overdraft protection.

I'm getting £4173.60 payments returned, plus £1880.20 8% simple interest, making a total of £6053.80!

Absolutely chuffed beyond bits. I'm so glad I looked at this forum because I wouldn't have bothered without all the encouraging posts.

That's £17,400 back so far and I'm still waiting on Barclayloan, Barclaycard, Capital One and Lombard.
