See what they come back with, you never know, they may give you the rest or stick with the offer they have made.
They actually requested that I send them any more info I had, but it was all financial info -amounts, APR dates etc. I sent it off on February 3rd, but still waiting.
They met their 8 week deadline by offering me the £1200, so my case is not a priority it seems.0 -
Had a reply MBNA today. One phone call on 12th April 2012 and today I received a letter from them informing me that for £370 of PPI, I got £2000 back. Well happy!!!!!!!:T:j:rotfl::p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p:p 2 more MBNA cards to go!!0

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say thanks for the support we've received over the last year. This will probably be my last post as we've been beaten. I'm not putting my sister through any more of this crap; we've sent the bumf off to FSCS and spoken to them, but there's 900 cases from Norton Finance so we're just forgetting about it as the likelihood is that nothing will come of this. A waste of time from the start to finish. Good luck and goodbye.
Hi Kuffs,
What a terrible shame. As amersall says though you never know FSCS may help you. I cannot even begin to know how you feel as this has been ongoing for a long time.
I wish you well and hope that you do get a final conclusion in your sisters favour.0 -
Get back in touch, in writing, reject the reasons they gave for not upholding and ask .... if you have no proof of what was said at the review, then how can the bank say this is what happened at the time of the sale? ask for proof of this, that the PPI was explained to you fully by the member of staff and you were not just given a leaflet to read (the cost and exclusions) and that you agreed to this, they cannot use " we gave you the info" as an excuse for not upholding.
Hi amersall
I have phoned FOS they are sending me a form (its not the questionnaire although they do want my copy that I sent to lloyds)
with lloyds being so adamant and snotty on the phone I didnt think I had a choice0 -
I am waiting to hear about a similar complaint with Lloyds dating from 1997. I have already been offered £1200 in respect of this, however I was able to unearth more documents showing a front loaded PPI amount of £1935. I have (and had at the time) six months sick pay and six months half pay at the time and was told I had to have PPI to get the loan.
So in view of their £1200 offer (which I rejected) will they "automatically" uphold and provide a revised amount? I guess they can't turn around and say you were not mis-sold - or can they?
Good luck I hope you have better news than me.
This was for my lloyds credit card, still waiting to hear regarding lloyds loans which I guess will be any day now because I sent them all at the same time.0 -
Phoned LTSB today to check progress on my complaints. Was told that a letter is in the post offering me £9,400 settlement for PPI on various loans I've had. Gobsmacked!!!! I await the credit card complaint result with interest.
Thanks to all who gave advice, very much appreciated. Best of luck to everyone waiting to hear/submitting complaints.0 -

How long did this take from posting the form or phone call?0 -
8 weeks exactly and today I have recieved a letter from LTSB upholding my complaint for miss-sold PPI on a Credit Card I had.
Total payment to be refunded £10,609.71. I am delighted. Does anyone know if LTSB are still dragging their feet issuing , the letter says within 28 days but i`ve read on here it can be much longer .:)0
