That is a shame, I thought they would have a claim for a fee for all PPI you have with the banks you mentioned, with the claims they have put in already you will just have to put this down to experience I am afraid, they will find the Sainsburys CC as Sainsburys will let them know, but at least you will get something back :D claims cos do nothing more than you can do and take a hefty fee for the privilage :D
But you know for the future:D

Thanks Amersall I am learning more and more each day:j

And can at least help friends and family with the little knowledge I have, but the biggest learning curve is NEVER USE CLAIMS COMPANYS:beer:

I have found a Marks & Spencer's store card statement going back to 2002 showing I was paying PPI, I have no idea how long i had this store card its converted to a credit card in 2005 which I still have to this date.

I am not paying PPI now but I have no idea when I stopped paying it.

Is it possible to make a claim.

If you have good reasons for believing that you were mis sold PPI, then just fill out a Consumer Questionaire found on this site, with your reasons and a photo copy of the orginal statement.
    And good luck:)

As poster madcat113 said, they are BOS in house collections, this means they do not put anything on the debt to collect it.

Anybody got any experience of reclaiming PPI from central capital?

Answered your other post :D good luck.
  • Took the Sainsburys loan out in 2004 for £5000, front loaded of about £1500.00 and paid up early. Payout of £1122.28:j
I had a pre existing back injury so all my PPI insurance were not fit for my purpose, and I had full sick pay for a year at work.
this has now spured me on to look at all my PPI.

What I did was pay £2 for credit reports for myself and my husband which took a matter of days, it was very useful to be able to check when the start date and settlement dates with all credit I had for the past 6 years. Just a quick note here that some of the credit agreements started in 1999 but because they were still active in 2006 they show up on the report. There were credit agreements that I had forgot about!!!.
So I used the consumers Questionaires found on this site and then found the correct address to send the eight claims off, will update with progress.
Great site to gain info as to how to do this yourself.:)

MBNA took the whole 8 weeks to reply and upheld my claim. I had my cheque 4 days later :D

Write back to them and reject the reasons they give for not upholding, use the above reason you believe you were mis sold this PPI, reiterate the reasons for mis sell that you gave when you put the claim in, also, could you have paid the card if you were unemployed or sick, did you have life insurance, sick pay from work to cover the debt? these are good reasons as they show you did not have a need for the PPI.

    Hi,

Thanks for the advice and encoragement.
I have written back today challenging thier decision and beefed it up a bit. If they still dont play ball FSO :)
I mentioned this politly of course :)

    Cheers
