Hi Guys
I am thinking about weather to use a PPI Claims company.
Can anyone who has used them before tell me when/if I win, where the claimed back money goes. Is it to the Claims company minus their % fee or does it come directly to me, leaving me to send them there fee ?
Thanks0 -
Hi Benji 58
I am sorry to hear you did not have much luck with this one.
Can I asked did they respond following your call or did they eventually receive your questionnare
I sent Fos form on 2nd April. Phoned Tuesday last week was told not on system yet, but got letter Friday. The person I spoke to was not very helpful.
I will be contacting them again tomorrow so will let you know what is said.0 -
Lloyds wrote back to me saying that they could find no evidence of this getting mis-sold and they sent me a copy of the new mortgage balance that they had me sign in 2006, when I added to my mortgage. Yesterday I found the original mortgage quotation from Jan 1997 and stated in the quotation it says "where a Tsb mortgagesure premium is shown on any preceding pages of this quotation, you are required to apply for Tsb mortgagesure as a condition of taking the mortgage" surely now they need to uphold my complaint as I didn't get a choice to refuse this policy. I was also shocked to noticed that it also said the same about my buildings and contents insurance.0

The FLA deal with store cards and other consumer credit, they are as much use as a chocolate fire guard to be honest, write back and ask for the recording, if you do not get any joy then put the complaint into FOS make sure you enclose copies of letters from Santander.
:rotfl: you would not be happy if my brain were in your headtrust me :rotfl:
can I just pick you brain again!:o
You will see i have posted 2 santander store cards - burtons and D Perkins, both letters don't say final response - Does this mean I can't send to FOS? Both letters say I am not getting a refund so is this ok to forward to FOS?0 -

As it was a condition of the Mortgage then I would think not, post the question here

Why pay a fee to them upwards of 25% plus Vat for something you can do yourself for free, you gather all the info any way and they just post the claim off and sit back and take a fee.
What do you want to reclaim and do you have the account numbers?.0
