Hi Thank you for your support

The very best of luck with your claim. I've never won anything before so wasn't very hopeful when it was taking so long but I've been proved wrong and im so pleased :D

Thank you, can you give me the address that you sent your complaint to for welcome finance please.

    HI

After a long 12 months wait the FOS has upheld my complaint against Welcome Finance for the miss selling of PPI.

An adjudicator has requested I am refunded the full amount of PPI on my loan of £3500 which is £1821.90 plus £200 compensation for my distress and inconveniance.

"Overall I conclude that Welcome Finance failed to pay sufficient regard to the interests of its customer and that it did not treat her fairly. Because of this I am of the opinion that the complaint should succeed"

I still have two weeks to wait and see if Welcome finally do the right thing and pay up! If not it will drag on longer but I wont give up!

Hope this gives some hope to everyone who has been patiently waiting. Its worth it in the end.

Big thanks to Money Saving Expert Martin Lewis

hi lian i believe from others who are successful with first plus it is about 12 months , there are a lot of people who are claiming against this company so you are not on your own please do not give up, take a look at this website firstpluscomplaints.co.uk it is brilliant, its nothing to do with first plus but it is a very good forum for us all who feel cheated by this company! please feel free to keep us all updated on your progress, good luck
  • Hi, has anyone had a PPI refund from A&L yet? I got a letter saying they were sending me my refund back in Jan, I sent a ''Yes I want the money'' letter back in Jan, and still nothing. Spoke to one of the advisors last week who said it can take a month....

Hi There mine took 6 weeks to the day. I think a month if you are lucky but 6 weeks is not unusual. Give them a ring and ask.;)
