Hi, can anyone out there help. On my bank statements I have a D/D set up for Membership Finance. Have contacted the bank but they no longer hold the address for them as the loan closed 2004. Have tried FOS and they have no complaints going with that company. Any ideas who I contact or has someone else had a loan with them. Thanks
I have not heard of them, give FSCS a ring and see if they can help you.

if the ppi was front loaded onto the loan when i took it out, would they still have to show it on this yearly update of the account.
Try a Sar, if this PPI was front loaded it will be in the monthly loan payment and will not show as PPI.0 -
It is my understanding that if I refer this to the financial ombudsman that the bank will incur a charge for a case being opened (of which I informed the person on the phone). I asked them if after taking this into consideration would it not be prudent to offer me a nominal amount. I put it to them that it may very well be an offer more than what I am owed or less than what I am owed, we would never know. However, it would be an offer to close the case, a case in which the bank have admitted they are wrong. The bank said to me that they thought the ombudsman would side with them if the proof isn’t there, but I have been advised that as the bank have admitted liability and have upheld my case then I should be paid something.
Give the FOS ring and ask, I am sure with no proof then they cannot make the bank pay up, the bank could also withdraw the offer if you go to FOS.
I could be wrong so ring them and ask.0 -
The 8% should be in addition to the original premuim and interest. How long has Barclays taken to uphold your complaint?
With loan PPI the interest is included in the PPI monthly payment if it was single premium, and this is included in the return of the premiums, sometimes in the calculations of redress the interest may show as a separate refund.
If it was a stand alone PPI, the interest will show as a separate refund on the mis sell calculations as standard.0 -

Please could you help me?
After hearing about several people being sucessful at claiming PPI, I decided to give it a go.
I contacted my bank HSBC to find out about PPI that I had on a previous credit card dated back to 1998. They said that they couldnt go back that long ago and couldnt give me my account number. I then contacted Experian, no joy there.
My sister works for Natwest, who told me that they have to give me my account number. I tried again!
The really helpful lady on the phone said that she could give me my account number but also said that I had paid PPI on another credit card with them and a personal loan too - I wasnt aware that I paid it!!
She said that she would get the claim started, and that I would be contacted in the next 6/8 weeks.
I was wondering, do I need to fill in any forms? She said that I didnt need to do anything, they would do it all?
Having read some of the threads on here, people are saying they completed various paperwork, finanical odbusman forms etc?
I just think it seems to simple?
Any advice or personal experience with HSBC would be gratefully appreciated!:)
Thank you X
If they have found your accounts they may just do this without any "form filling", I am sure anyone who has put a claim in with these will post and let you know what HSBC do.0 -

I completed the forms on here for PPI claim and sent off to Barclaycard, I have heard nothing back from them but just checked online and have seen that I have recieved a refund on my account for £440 labeled as "Refund Late Charge".
I have not claimed for the late charges although i have been charged the £12 fee many many times...bad me.
Has this happened to anyone else or do you think this refund is for PPI Claim?
Many Thanks
Hi there
I would contact them to make sure on this, ask them to confirm, so you know where you are.
Good luck. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

getting bigger and bigger ones each one paying the previous one off
until we finally paid the HFC off about 7 years ago about 25,000--we
had no paperwork or acc. numbers but thought I would try anyway
and yes we did have ppi so I asked them how far they looked back
and they said indefinitley so our claim is going in--I was just wondering has anyone had a success with HFC and what were the grounds and how long did it take.
Thanks
Fingers crossed, hopefully all the way with a bit of luck.;)
They have 8 weeks from when they receive your complaint. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi folks
Was after some advice regarding my recent PPI claim with Black Horse. My husband and I had a loan with this company from May 2005 until we paid it off in October 2007. Black Horse have replied to our claim form saying that they cannot access the information for this loan as it must be archived, therefore the onus is on us to find out the loan agreement number so they can investigate this further! Has anybody else out there had a similar response from any companies???? Any advice on how to tackle this?
Do a Sar to Black Horse.
