    We need to know what ppi was charged.
  • I am not sure as I do not have the loan argeement and PPI details as this was going back so far.... Just as a general rule are HSBC offering what they like basically?

    Remembered that the insurance company had to have a certified copy and they are within easy reach (and polite and helpful), popped round and they happily removed the one from their files to help. The whole lot in the post (recorded delivery) now for the next 8 week wait. And working late to make up for missed time.

    No.
    You should have also received a breakdown of the PPI redress and the interest.

    They return to you all the PPI you paid, plus 8% interest. As they've said "this figure will effectively return the protection premiums you paid", I see no reason for any doubt on your part.

    Good evening everybody i am still waiting on my claim with Barclays to be sorted its only be going on since June of last year :mad:they closed it then reopened it in september last year i have rang them countless number of times but get the same response each time ,we dont know the timescale i am now thinking of just sending it to the fos ,i have emailed bob diamond to which he never bothered replying back ,thanks bob!:(

  • Wowwww, one letter to First Plus 3 weeks ago and we have had a full refund of interest paid and 8% over £10,000 WHAT A RESULT! Worth every penny of a first class stamp:j
