PPI Reclaiming successes and failures

Just wanted to share our great news about our PPI claim and tell others how easy it was and if they haven't already filled the forms out...then what are you waiting for!
We visited our branch of Lloyds as this is were my husband has banked for years, and they kindly printed off every loan with account number and dates that he had ever had and there were quite a few!
I then printed the form from Lloyds website, completed it and sent it recorded delivery, this was in January.
Within a couple of weeks we had a letter to day that they were looking into one of the loans and 2 letter saying that there were no PPI on them, which we couldn't remember which had and which hadn't so I wrote down every loan number on the form.
We then had a letter on March 10th telling us that we had been awarded £1615 which we were thrilled about.
The cheque then came about a week later:)
Then this week we had another 9 letters to say we had been awarded a further total of £17,951 :j so we have managed to claim a total of £19,566.53 with no help from any agencies so the money is all OURS
Good luck to anybody out there trying to claim and I hope you are as successful as we have been x
Now waiting for the money to go into the bank, will keep you posted on how long that takes.0 -

I got a letter back this morning offering me £4990, about half of which was PPI repayment, the other half Interest.
I am as my username says, a VERYHAPPYCHAPPY !
Add this to the tax rebate also claimed thanks to this site, and energy savings too, and my finances are much healthier!

Great news VERYHAPPYCHAPPY
Just wondering how long it took MBNA to sort out your claim from the date you wrote to or rang them?
I wrote to them over 4 weeks ago and still haven't had any response. Thanx0 -
How do i find out if i have ppi on car insurance which was purchased online?0

I have been getting calls from these people who want to help you out with PPI claims pretty often and a few texts too. I obviously put the phone down and I am not interested.
I don't have any loans with my bank, just a student overdraft, but DID have a student credit card. Unfortunately through being a lazy git, I just never got round to paying it, and it was taken to a debt company, etc. All sorted now.
But question is, can I claim from this? not 100% of this.0 -
