so nothing as yet ....rather annoying I didnt expect the bank to drag their backsides in refunding .... but Ill see what happens if not Ill be sending an e-mail to the boss of Lloyds ....any idea who he is lol and one other Q if anyone can shed some light will they have automatically taken the ppi off my current loan as the letter states its just a payment is due tomorrow and Im curious to see what happens do they take it off and leave the payments the same or do they adjust your payment without the ppi added on

    Much appreiciated

CEO for Lloyds is osario, look it up on CEO email on google, we are not allowed to give his e mail on this site, the banks have power over everyone, even this forum!.

If the loan is still running, the whole ppi is taken off the balance and the monthly payment goes down by the ppi monthly amount, you get the ppi you paid to date back with 8%, the interest on the actual ppi payment is included in the amount they pay you back for this.

That is so true, we used to be able to but then it was stopped, if we did it would come up as ********* something like that :(.

Best thing to do is google in Bank CEO's and a list should come up on at least one of them.;)

They have to send you a contract to sign to then go on and make the claim, if you want to cancel this contract you have to do so within 14 days, if they do the claim without you signing the contract then they can be reported to the Claims company regulator.

They try every trick in the book to get you to let them make the claim, they entice people by telling them they have ppi and can get thousands back, they have no clue what ppi you have or how much the claim can potentially be, they cannot get any info on any of your accounts.
They can say they can get you the money within a short space of time, they cannot make a claim go any faster than the bank allows them to, they have no more power over the banks or FOS than you or I.
They are a bunch of crooks in my opinion, they are only out to make money for the least outlay this is the cost of a stamp to post the claim form to the bank that the customer fills in, all the info regarding the account, getting account numbers, doing the Sar if you need one, is all done by the customer.
Best thing to do is steer clear.
THANK-YOU once again for another very detailed answer to me(I love you peeps on here). I cannot believe that these (oooo can't think of a non abusive word for them) companies can get away with it. Do you know what, if I had n't already found out how easy it is to do it myself I could easily have been conned!!! I'm not a very confident person and I'm not so good on a computer either (it's my age). It's like when I ask questions on here you must think I'm an idiot but, that's how you learn about things is n't it. That's another cuppa I owe you too!!! Shall I put the kettle on? LOL.
  • Another update on my PPI Road of Reclaim, success from Marks and Spencer Money on my credit card.
Recieved my offer letter yesterday, i really thought this one would be a rejection, but no.. £4106 offered.. hurrah! Already filled in the form and hopefully will expect money very soon.
    Good!

    So, to update..
Barclaycard with FOS.. letter recieved to say they have recieved and looking into it.
2 x Egg card claims... still awaiting result
MNBA say upheld over phone 4 weeks ago but STILL waiting payment.
    M & S.. claim upheld, offer returned.

So, looking good so far.. will soon be totally debt free. what a fantastic feeling.

For anyone looking, please, please don't go to a claims company, so simple to fill in the forms yourself!

    Good luck everyone waiting.

I am in utter shock at the result I have had ......

I claimed against RBS by telephone 8 weeks ago to this day.
I had been mis-sold PPI on a £25K loan and had lready paid 25 premiums of £107 before I noticed and cancelled it.

I claimed this back and received a letter today giving me all of the premiums plus interest plus 8% ....

What I didn't bank on was them taking ANOTHER loan into account that I had paid PPI on and had FORGOTTEN ABOUT and paying me this back too !!

From expecting around £3500 back from RBS, I have just been offered the grand total of :

    £6,411.25 !!!!!!!!!

Thank you thank you thank you to MSE and you guys on here, without the information on here, I would probably not have thought I could get anything :j:j:j:j:j:j:T:T:T

  • Thanks for your replies guys...
I have been told on here my Nat west loan was front loaded,
when i complained to Nat west i didnt mention this, will that be
held against me or should they see that in there investigation.
Also i have read on the FOS site that 99% of Nat west PPI complaints are upheld. Do Nat west normally turn you down
and hope you dont go to the FOS ?

Many Thanks and keep up the great work.

Just though I would put an update on here. I originally complained back in May 2011 to Lloyds, received a rejection letter with no reason on the letter, to cut a long story short I sent it to FOS in October 2011 and FOS finally come back to me 20.02.2012 stating Lloyds would now uphold my complaint and Lloyds would send me a letter I have phoned a couple of times for an update on when I am going to receive payment but they said its not been done yet. I sent an email to Tim Tookey and there reply is we are dealing with the FOS you need to contact them for an update. where do I go from here?
