I thought I had finished all of mine and my wife's PPI claims but I had forgot I had requested all of my wifes banking history from a SAR downloaded from this site. The SAR was well worth the £10.00 that it cost. I had a trawl through the documentation and I found a further 4 accounts(2 credit cards and 2 mortgage protection).
In total to date I have had the following successful PPI claims.
6 LLoyds bank personal loans £13,000.
Mortgage protection £2400.00
My wife has had 1 Person loan from LLoyds TSB
£2,400.00
Egg credit card. £419.00
M & S Money £4,200.00
My wife has the following outstanding claims.
7 loans from TSB
3 loans from M & S
We have a further joint mortgage protection claim.
We also have the 4 claims that we found by requesting documents using SAR off this site. I repeat it was well worth the £10.00 that bank charges.0 -

Hi this is my first post, but i would like to thank everyone on this site for giving me the confidence to put in a complaint to Halifax with regards to TMPP ins. on our mortgage. I called Halifax on the 25nov2011 and explained why i thought we had been mis-sold TMPP ins. with our mortgage. The lady at Halifax registered our complaint. My reasons were - I was only 21 at the time and the guy in the Halifax told us if we did not take out the TMPP ins they would not give us the mortgage because of my age and that it was compulsory, we had to take it to get the mortgage. ( This was always going to be hard to prove as this was going to be our word against theirs). Also my husband and i both have good jobs and we both get full sick pay if off work. I also put everything in writing to Halifax with the reasons, and sent that recorded delivery. We got a letter the following week to say they had acknowledged our complaint and we would hear from them within 12 wks. I received a phone call after 6 weeks saying they were upholding our complaint and refunding all premiums plus 8%, and that they would send letter out to confirm. We received the letter on 6th Jan with total amount to refunded of £14580 :j. and the cheque arrived today so in total from complaint to receiving cheque just over 8 weeks. We are well on our way to being debt free, thank you so much to everyone on this site xxx:beer:0

Hi all thought I would share some of our successes:-
1. Halifax Total Mortgage Protection Plan policy - £2200 incl interest.
The last payment of this was 2004 - so over 8 years ago, yet HBOS accepted my claim. The interest was nearly the same as the premiums!
2. HBOS PPI on a loan - £870 incl interest
Still one outstanding from HBOS and an enquiry into 2 credit cards!
Basically, if you don't ask - you don't get!0 -
I never thought I would be saying this so soon, but Lloyds TSB have paid out!!!
I had to resubmit my original claim documents on 18th November, after Lloyds TSB informed me that they "had no record of receiving your claim forms" 4 months previous. That was obviously a big fat lie, given the speed at which my second attempt to claim has been processed! So here it is:- Claim forms resubmitted (by email) 18/11/11
- Acknowledgment email 1 week later
- Letter from Lloyds with "Final Offer" received 18/01/12 (full repayment of PPI, Excess Loan Amount, Interest on excess PLUS 8% on everything)
- Payment of final amount into current account 25/01/12
I have to say, I do feel somewhat guilty when reading how long others have had to wait so I only hope your claims get processed ASAP.
Right now though, I'm off to make a celebratory cup of tea!

Glad You got your PPI back quickly. I am still waiting for mine. I had the letter saying I was going to get a refund 2 weeks ago...0 -
Just registered in order to post this.
After unsuccessful attempts to find out from Santander how to make a claim I found and used the forms available on MSE and sent them off in mid-December. A couple of weeks ago we got, as our first response, a letter telling us that they would give us a full refund of payments (plus interest) for the PPI that was sold to us under the advisement that it was a requirement if we were to be offered the mortgage we were taking out (with Alliance & Leicester as it was at the time). We sent off our details for the bank transfer the same day!
Last week our account was credited with £1700 (and some pence). :j
Many thanks to Martin as I don't think I would have done it without the detailed guide and the form.0 -
Well done Kinglong.....nice to know that some people are receiving money :-)0
