  • Hi folks,

posted on here a week past Thursday - 11 weeks after starting process, when I had received my letter saying I'd be getting my £2.1K. My current account as of today showed a nice increase in money of approx £2.1K - I make that 6 working days to pay up.

Merry Christmas and keep fighting the good fight folks.

WTG, when was your interest made up to?? Mine is made up to 14th December, phoned them today and they have sent an e-mail to prioritise my payment as it has exceeded 30 days after the offer. I said so how long now and they said up to another 28 days, this is serioously taking the P now grrrr  but well done you :T
  • :j Halifax credit card, claiming back ppi .
Rang them 4 weeks ago and said I wanted to cancel my ppi
because I knew nothing about the cover, thought it was an
    insurance against fraud.
I claimed £850. they said I would have to wait 12 weeks for a reply.

Then on Saturday17th sept I received a cheque for £850.
I think that was very quick and have no complaints. I did not even
have to fill out a form.
I would advise everyone to at least make a claim and you don't have to go through an agency. Do it yourself. (easy)

Ring Citi speak to Amy she will tell you breakdown of figures and if your cheque has been processed. They had a load of cheques into the department last week. Ring them.

Update - rang the number this morning that you kindly supplied and they said it was Santander and they didn't seem to know anything about Citi cards.

Rang the FOS to say still nothing heard and they said that they had not received any reply to their 2 emails sent a week and a half ago to Lloyds. They said they would send them another email. I also told them the conatct details I had for Opus but that Opus would not speak to me as I had gone to the FOS. He said he would use my contact details and try and find out why they haven't settled yet.

Beginning to despair. Anyone got ANY suggestions?
  • claim type: PPI personal loan
    Bank: Natwest
    Amount: £2000
Result: Instant letter offer of refund

I claimed 6 weeks ago, direct to the bank after reading the advice on Money Saving Expert.

I took out the loan 5 years ago and didn't even know I was paying PPI.

My bank have offered a full refund of all monies paid plus 8% interest and 8% extra goodwill gesture, so I have got back more than I paid.

The money will pay off the remainder of the loan so I will no longer have to make repayments, and I get a little extra too!

Thank you Money Saving Expert, everybody should claim back this Insurance if they did not need it!!

  • Hi all, very p***ed off with Lloyds Tsb, I had an offer letter from Lloyds Tsb dated 25 August 2011!I am still waiting for a cheque.

The really frustrating part is that I still have a current loan running with Lloyds, that I have requested for the PPI to be cancelled, this has not yet been done so i am still paying the same amount each month, when I know my payments should be less. So not only do they owe me over £6500 + additional interest for keeping me waiting so long, but they are still taking more money from me, than they need to each month because they have not yet recalculated my loan.

Its very frustrating when you see people getting very quick responses and cheques, don't get me wrong I am very pleased for those people, but I'm at my wits end, as like anybody at this time of year I could really do with the money

Has anyone got any ideas what i can do next? I have tried sending an email to Lloyds complaining, but surprise surprise I have had no response & that was about 4 wks ago!

IT HAS NOW BEEN 117 DAYS AND STILL WAITING
