My wife made claims with Lloyds TSB and M & S. Both returning PPI
When I made a claim with TSB they checked all of the loans that I had with them and they returned all PPI I had ever paid. Now they are only paying back for requested loan accounts. We had to ring the Loan department and request all of my wife's loan details and then had to start a new caim process. We have done the same for M & S so we will need to wait a further 12 weeks.
Lloyds don't wait for an acceptance letter to be returned now they have paid interest to 14/12/2011. M & S will pay on return of acceptance letter within 28 days.
Total so far
Myself
Lloyds TSB 13,105 paid well within 4 week period after acceptance letter.
My wife
Lloyds TSB
2,400 to be paid in 28 days no acceptance letter needed
3 further loans claimed 25/11/2011
decision by 17/02/2012
M & S
4200 to be paid within 28 days of acceptance.
4 further loans claimed 25/11/2011
decision by 17/02/20120 -

Just had an offer of £1,486.94 from Lloyds! I reported my complaint to the number given to me in branch two and a half months ago (This was after 2 years of complaining through post).
I took out a £8,000 graduate loan with Lloyds in 2008 (Self-employed at the time), told I wouldn't be approved if I didn't take the PPI, I cancelled the PPI (late 2009) and was told the new loan balance included a reduction from cancelling the PPI. It would appear there was some tall tales here as the offer includes a large amount of repayment from the time after the PPI was cancelled.
Anyone getting tired of the fight (I was) dont give up!0 -

Hi
I am new but have been reading all your stories which as spurred me on into claiming back my own PPI.
I sent off all my letters on 12th November 11. I dont think I am due back any large amounts but am determined to get back everything that is due to me.
Had 2 letters back from LLoyds TSB from to old loans, just confirming the are investigating my complaint. 1 letter from Barclaycard again confirming my complaint and asking for a FOS questionnaire even though I sent one with the original letter (perhaps a delay tatic)
So far I have already had 2 refund letters.
First one reclaiming back my Mortgage exit fee from C&G. Recieved letter on the 18th November confirming I will be getting a cheque for £225.
Second from BOS regarding a Sainsbury's loan. I only had loan for around 6 months then paid it off but have recieved confirmation I will be getting £1118.
I have littlewoods catalogue calling me at 10.00am this morning regarding my complaint about extra care advantage, but have read on the forum noone seems to get any success from them so I'm not hopeful.
Right that's it for now will update as and when I get more info to share.
Good luck to everyone - keep up the hard work.Successfully claimed back total of £2802 PPI

my mum is absolutely delighted. I put in a form from this site to Blackhorse in October. Received letter on Saturday to say they would be refunding her £21,000 odds. This was for about 8 car loans that just kept continuing. She also is still paying £700 a month on one of these so this will now be finished also! She is over the moon. Thanks again to this site!!! :money:0

We got our calculations letter this morning from halifax after getting our cheque last week. The figures look low and i really dont mean that in agreedy way. If they only went back back six years the premium refund averages about £13 a month yet we regular paid £30. there was a short period where there was no balance but it wasnt for long. The 8% interest refund of £39 would confirm this. Is there a way that we can ask for a breakdown of the premiums paid? Can we still SAR that info or by the time it would come back would it be too late to go back to them?? Not sure what to do, has anyone else be suspicious of payment calculations?? Actually had the card 8 yrs and their offer was that they would estimate the first two years etc so cant understand the figures at all. If we request info god knows how long theyll take getting back to us. We waited since 3rd sept for payment!!Mary B0

Over the years I've had a number of loans with Halifax. The bank gave me a printout detailing 9 loans taken out in the 90s and the early 2000s. When I called Halifax for copies of the agreements, I was told that they would send me details "if they had them". However, said that I DID NOT have PPI on any of the loans. Well, surprise, surprise, today I received copies of 4 loan agreements. I did not have PPI on 3 of them. However, I did have PPI on one of the loans. I am awaiting copies of the other paperwork for the remaining 4 loans.
I was advised on 2 occasions that I did not have PPI on any of these loans. I could understand someone getting it wrong once but twice and by 2 different people. Perhaps I'm being cynical but I'm wondering if that's what they say to try and put folks off. What do other users here think?0
