When I got it I was in the royal navy so didn't really need PPI, when it appeared on my card I assumed it was compulsory. After listening to you talk about it on Daybreak saying not to use these claim agents and just write to credit card, I e-mailed asking how I could complain. Within a couple of days, got a letter and a FSA form to fill in, which was straight forward and didn't have to send anything off. Within a couple of days got a reply acknowledging form and explaining that they were busy and had dispensation from FSA for delays but not later than early December to investigate. Had a couple of letters of apology every two weeks, then this week got a letter saying they have calculated compensation based on last 6 years as don't have statements prior to that, which is great as last five years, been buying everything on card and clearing bill every month, including my £6k honeymoon and 6 flights to Oz. I expected £2k and got an offer of £5,126, just got to pay tax on about £1k. This is a good Xmas and half towards our investment of solar panels. :-))))). Thank you Martin
WTG Kay :T credit card redress can certainly mount up if you clear the card every month, well done, hope the sun comes back out nowSuccesses

1. Reclaiming Personal Loan PPI on a Loan.
2. Lloyds
3. £6.959.23 !
Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank Martin and his team for the downloadable template letter which I filled out and sent off to LLoyds at the beginning of August.
I received a letter from them on 12th August acknowledging my claim and saying how sorry they were and were looking into it etc.
I wasn't about to hold my breath as the letter stated that it could take up to 16 weeks !
However, how surprised I was, when opening a standard type letter from LLoyds on Friday 18th Novermber (some 12 weeks later) confirming that, yes they were "sorry the situation had occurred" and "as a final response" they were offering a final payment of £6.959.23 including interest at 8%.
Was overjoyed with the news.:j:j
Many thanks yet again as without your help I probably would have never claimed.
