Lloyds sent me a letter on 19.10.11 explaining they have accpeted my PPI Loan complaint and offered my final payment figure, and that a chque will be posted asap.
Its been a month still no sign of the cheque, is it worth me writing a letter to them chasing payment? I have emailed to them over a week ago no reply yet!!
I read on this site that Lloyds Tsb are delaying payments for PPI on Loans is this stillthe case?0 -

Well done on your success!
There is a backlog I'm afraid, but it doesnt look like they are going about this in a order of date manner. So you could still receive your refund soon.
My last 2 with lloyds was resolved the end of Sept, they emailed to let me know and I received the letters early October, but am still waiting, although last week I was informed the cheques have already been processed, but up now nothing in the post.
There is no harm in emailing or ringing them now and again, its your money and you have the right to know when to expect your refund.
Some email addys below, good luck.;)

Good Morning Mrs
My name is Matthew Brandrick and I am a complaints case manager in the Customer Advocates Office. Mr O'Doherty has asked that I investigate the concerns raised in your email as they fall within my area of responsibility.
I have spoken with our payments team and upon receipt of your email we arranged for your cheque to be approved and created as a priority.
The cheque has now been approved and we are waiting for our finance team to create the cheque and send this back to us. The cheque should be back in our office early this week and will be sent out on the same day. You should receive your cheque early next week.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me using the details below.
Regards
Matthew

Can anybody tell me what the process is with the FOS, I logged my complaint in June 2011. I was then expecting to be eventually passed to an adjudicator. After calling the FOS for an update I was then told that my case is now with the offers team but Central Trust don't seem to be replying to the FOS e-mails.
Do the offers team try to sort things out before you need an adjudicator?0 -
:T Hi. I have been following the comments over the last few weeks as I have been in the same boat as a lot of you, waiting for Lloyds TSB to refund PPI, no response to emails and so on. I submitted my claim in May which was upheld in August. I received my first offer letter from Lloyds TSB mid September and a recalcualion letter last week. Just to let you know that I have received a cheque in the post today for the full amount - over £6000. Cannot believe that it has arrived at last. I hope others have received the same.0

:jI came on this forum a couple of months ago and got some advice, which I followed rather than going for one of the reclaim companies which I had thought of contacting. Today recieved a cheque for £3300, without having to go to the second stage which I was naturally expecting. The loan was with HSBC, and has just ended today by coincidence. Not sure about what happens regarding tax of the 8% which I believe the government wants to get its hands on, anyone know about that?
Anyway, Im overjoyed and taking the afternoon off to celebrate!! Thank you all, especially Dr Squeeze.:A0
