Thank you all once again for all your help and encouragment and good luck to all still in the process of reclaiming

    Great

Were they as I worked out for you in the "discussion thread"?

My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was 60. Now she's 97 years old and we don't know where the hell she is.

    Hi there

    Check this link out here:
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

There is a template on the link, but if you can try to use your own words and obviously your own reasons.

They have 8 weeks to respond in full but if not successful first time round, another letter maybe required.
They will let you know when its the final response with details of the Financial ombudsman service (FOS).

Post by recorded delivery, please keep us posted in case any help is required, fingers crossed to you.;)

HSBC have upheld my complaint, after a phone call 8 weeks ago. Whilst I had made a claim, they are still paying out, less the one month payment made to me when I was made redundant. :j
    :T:T:T thats super well done:T:T:T:money:

Some good news from loans.co.uk, 1 letter sent 15 jan, first reply saying give us 4 weeks received 17 jan, letter received friday saying they are upholding my complaint in my favour, get the lender to cancel the ppi and have the outstanding amount refunded to the loan, and i will have a cheque for what i have already paid, plus interest paid, plus 8% interest courts would award within a month, requested it be paid direct into my bank account, and they were fine with that!! Loans.co.uk seem to be one of the better ones to deal with! 1 very happy reclaimer!

    Morning Everyone,
Received a letter from FOS stating that HFC were upholding my claim for mis-sold PPI, had to sign and return the form to FOS, and it should take 6-8 weeks? to get my money back, I will update the amount when it arrives. Keep going everyone, you will win in the end, thanks again to di3004 for all her help, once again kid you're a star XX

    Morning everyone,
Just received letter from HFC with my settlement figures, I was expecting about £400. HFC are paying me £1419.74, plus 8% interest £765.48. Total £2185.22, which will be payed into my bank account. Again a massive thanks to Di3004, pinknico and maxdp. You're all fantastic, I am totally in shock at this figure.

Keep going everyone, it's nice to get one over the financial institutions.
