I personally think different departments are running their own investigations and payouts, plus there's been quite a few payouts over the last few days which coincides with the banks latest figures, hhhmmmm, scratches chin and ponders!:DThanks to all the competition posters.0 -
I should also add, thats with no pressure to CEP or customer services etc! Thanks to all the competition posters.0

Sorry! i think you should get the 8% to date,i am not 100% how the credit card 8% is worked out, only that if you had a credit balance you do not get it.
Someone who knows how this works will help i am sure, this 8% should be to date, you are right here, but with the credit balance they may have included this to date.
Sorry if i confused you :)now i am more confused
Hi thanks for the reply and advise again. Spoke to them yesterday but not budging at present on the clearing the arrears part. They said nothing about our mention of the 8% being wrongly calculated. After getting home from work and reading your reply to me I telephoned the Ombudsman with a general enquiry and they said that they did have to pay the 8%. I got her to confirm that this is on a credit card as well as a loan and she said yes. We are going to contact Tesco again today and put it to them and see what they say. I will keep you posted
Thanks for your help0 -
Nine weeks and two days waiting for money from the Really Boll**ks Sharks. They sent my figures way back in August. My acceptance letter received by them on 5th Sept. If anyone from the bank reads these forums then maybe they could explain why it takes so long because you don't get any sense out of them when you ring up. Have already waited one year since AUG 2010 just to get figures. Really happy for those who put claims in this year and have been paid out but am really getting fed up with all this.:mad:
Feeling your pain! I'm still waiting on my payout. Granted I haven't been messed around as long as you have (my claim went in May 2011 and they confirm they received my acceptance 13th Sept) but they are forever giving you timelines and getting your hopes up and then dashing them because they can't be met.
Spoke to someone in their PPI Concerns Team last night. It seems they have realised the telephone number were giving out was a joke. It just used to ring and ring and then cut off. If you were lucky it was answered. But now they have an automated message and it was answered promptly.
Although the answer I got was not very helpful... 'the delay is because your payout is over 5 grand... erm 5 thousand'... and the problem with that is???? Surely a payment of £1 should be dealt with in the same way as a payment of £5,000?
Grrrrrr...:( !!! Anyway, I've waited the 28 working days, to be told that they have now extended this by up to 4 weeks, which gives them until Friday 18th Nov... at which point I shall be kicking off BIG style :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!!!
Keep hanging on in there people... we'll get there!
Well done to any winners this week :j:beer::T Natwest Loan PPI Claim Upheld Sep 11 £11,840 - Paid 25/11/11 :T0 -

I haven't heard from them at all, I waited the few days that they said that I would need to for them to respond, and then sent another secure message saying I was bitterly disappointed to find that their complaints department weren't as responsive as them. The response I had was that this department had in fact forwarded my complaint to the relevant department and that I should be patient whilst they investigate. Well to be honest if I wanted patience I would have trained as a doctor!!! Patience is not one of my strong points I have to say, so I have now waited since the 18th october for some kind of response from the complaints team, patience score for me is now in a minus, all I want now is an email address for capital one then I am compelled to let them know exactly how I feel about non compliance, heehee!!
Hope you have better luck than me, and make sure you don't take any crap from them, too often we are taken for fools, not any more....:rotfl:
I'm not patient either! I only got my offer letter form MBNA on Saturday and already I'm on pins everyday until the postie has been, they have 28 days so this could be a looooong month for me:rotfl:
hope you have some joy I'll let you know what they say to me when I do eventually hear back and good luck :beer:MBNA Upheld £20,663.63 2/11/11, cheque recieved 25/11/11 :j
