  • thanks to MSE i have received a £3900 refund in PPi from a HSBC loan and been successful in my claim for PPI on my HSBC credit card.
however they have stated that as they are only required to hold records for 6 years they are only paying me the last 5 months premiums with interest, £426. I have found 5 statements prior to this but I had had the credit card from 2001. Is there anyway I can get proof of the premiums I had paid previously?

    thanks

As you have probably guessed no Firstplus cheques have arrived today and there eight weeks is up today.

I have sent Mr Diamond an e-mail asking for compensation, I will give Firstplus another call on Friday. :(

Had another letter from Lloyds TSB apologising for the delay in making my payment (still 2 days from deadline date) and they had recalculated adding £70 to my amount. My payment was now a priority and would be paid by transfer to account to speed up process.
Blah blah heard it all before, but take it all back £7000 transferred into my account this morning. First complained in May so process quite drawn out but not as bad as some I know.
Thanks for the help and good luck to everyone !:j
