GOOD NEWS!!!
I just received a call from LloydsTSB admin department. They have heard my complaint and are happy to pay it sooner than they otherwise would have. They gave me a preliminary date of 23rd of November but will call me back shortly as there is a possibility that they can pay it BACS into my account today!
They also said that the time frame I was given (August complainants paid in November) is now shorter as they have cleared the lion share of the backlog. It's all down hill from hereSPC = £15.54 #1413
£2 challenge = £22

My 3rd claim with MBA has been upheld thats 3 totalling £20k now (1 x CC, 2 X loans)
the CEO there Ian Doherty is very good, emailed him and he gets within a day with the breakdown, if only Lloyd's were as good !
Question though can anyone help - How do i tell the taxman about the 8% interest (does he get it all or just a portion of it), but if someone could tell me who ro write to or website i would be most grateful
thanks0 -
Unbelievable, downloaded the questionnaire from the MSE website, filled it in and sent it off yesterday, 07 nov 2011, got a call from Santander this afternoon telling me I would get the full amount back plus interest.
Took out a loan with alliance & Leicester 3 years ago. Felt I had been forced to take out the ppi otherwise I would not get the car loan. I should have done this ages ago. Do not be put off, the banks know they are in the wrong and what have you got to lose? It cost me £1.30 to sort it out and I will get around £800 back.0 -

Hi All,
I am going completely loopy with Halifax at the moment with my PPI payments claim. I have two cards, both paid in full and closed which I am claiming for.. I sent the template from MSE in May and got a reply in July to say they will refund plus 8% interest.
I have called them a few times since recieving the letter to find out how long it will take, 1st call - i was told approx 7-8 wks, 2nd call - oh we cant give you timeframe and the amounts havent been worked out yet..call today....same answer!
I really do not have the time to keep calling and chasing them !! Has anyone got anything of Hailfax...Im thinking of writing a letter of complaint...0 -
Disgustified wrote: »I hope what they are saying is true. When you say August complaints do you mean those made in August or those who got their offer in August?
Because my situation is no different to yours from what I can see. I want the money to pay off debt with Lloyds and my complaint was made in May, so could you please post to say when you get the cash?
That way I will have some ammo to go at them with if I don't get mine very shortly.0 -
