He signed the acceptance and sent off but had a letter a day or two later with his figures some £5045.97, as it seems they have ditched the acceptance stage for some reason or other. Now this letter was dated 15th of September and YES you guessed it still no cheque.............well Friday last i was able to find the e-mail address for the CEO of LLoydstsb, I then got all info letters recieved from them in the past months gathered all dates and compiled and e-mail to the CEO, letting him know how we feel putting it politely LOL. I am now going to re-send this e-mail every day untill we get a satisfactory outcome even on weekends so he has 3 allready for Monday morning......who knows i may increase to 2 every day next week and 3 every day the week after an so on...............its got to be worth a shot.
ONWARDS AND UPWARDS THE FIGHT HAS BEGUN:D
Hi
You are Lucky, I can't even get my figures from Lloyds, I had my upheld letter dated 22 August a duplicate was sent in error to me 26 August, sent both acceptance forms back on days of delivery, 26 August and 5 Sept respectivly, Phoned to ask where figures are on many occasions and e-mailed CEO who say because of data protection they cannot discuss by e-mail !!! I explained on the phone that because of mum who lives 200 miles away and is to have heart surgery I need the money that after all IS mine, but just get loads of empty promises, as you will see my 28 day wait from acceptance is long past. I am so angry with Lloyds TSB and so worried that I may not be able to visit my mother who is to have a very serious opperation.

Cannot believe it, received mortgage P.P.I. offer on 21st October for £6112,the day after i was told they were upholding it, can't believe they just send out a figure without any information of how they got this figure. Does anyone know if LTSB are just paying Mortgage refunds just for the last 6 years. I am going to ring tomorrow to ask questions.0

Is it me or are Halifax really slow at doing the calculations? There only seems to be a few payouts from halifax compared to all the other banks. I have been waiting nearly two months for my calcs and everytime I ring up, all they seem to say is that a calculation has been requested. This answer doesn't really explain much, in that is somebody actually working the calcs out or is it still in the queue to be looked at. When you ask how long is it going to be, the answer I always get is we can't say. I'm trying to be patient, but I am also getting extremely frustrated with halifax. It'll be next year by the time I see my money again!0

Morning all,
First rejection received Saturday morning from MBNA.
Usual stuff. Stated that I'd checked the box on teh online application and that I knew what I was buying blah blah blah.
My arguement is that I do and always have worked for Local Goverment and am entitled to statutory sick pay and redundancy pay therefore the policy was unsuitable for me and that insufficient informationw as provided to me to explain this.
Off to the FOS we go. Questionairre in the post this monring!!!
Still no news from Halifax and RBS regarding my 14claims!!!
