having sent a ppi complaint to santander for a personal loan on 22/08/11 i phoned them up yesterday to make sure they had recieved it as i hadnt heard anything.they said it hadnt been recieved and asked what address i sent it to. address was complaints po box1125 bradford bd19pg(off their website). they said this was general complaints and ppi complaints was po box 6197 milton keynes mk101uy. they said general complaints wouldnt forward this on and i would have to submit a new one. just wasted 2months!!!!!

    beware..

    Hi and welcome

So sorry to hear that, and I do think its so wrong if the other address does not forward your complaint.

I would try to find the tel number of the address you sent your complaint to, and ask them to either return your letter/complaint back to you, or ask if they will kindly forward your complaint to the relevant dept.
But you will want to make sure they done this, but the other suggestion is, if you kept a copy, then send to the address given.

Also come details below of Santander address, good luck, please keep us posted. Cheers.;)

  • Hi, Am new round these parts but thought i would share my good news.

I started a claim with Lloyds TSB in July and received my settlement letter on 21st October. It took them 15 out of the 16 weeks to resolve the claim.

They have awarded me £2500 for two loans dating back to 2001 & 2003.

One question is they said in the letter that they are paying me by bank credit to my Lloyds account, anyone know how long it could be before i get paid?

Thank goodness you called or you would have waited forever. Hopefully, it'll be sorted soon enough now 2.gif

Hi and welcome and Well done on your success!:TCongratulations!

They currently have a backlog, but it used to be about 21 to 28 days after the resolve your complaint, send them an email or give them a ring and they should try to give you some sort of timescale.
