  • I think Im going to ring Lloyds and tell them I know their offer is too low and can they recalculate, see if they submit! I only hope they dont ask me what I think it should be! Has anyone done this??
  • HI All,

Just checked my bank, got my Barclaycard refund today from PPI reclaim commenced on 09/05/11.

    A little better off now.:):):):):):):)

They did not however do as expected. They paid off the small balance of my card and then gave me the remainder even though I was not in arrears at all.

Never mind after waiting this long for payment to be made I guess I should not complain.:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

Good Luck to all those still waiting. (As I am for 3 Halifax CC reclaims).

Flabbergasted! Stumbled across some old (2002) Direct Line loan documentation during a paperwork clearout in August. Thought it might be worth a try, but had very low expectations as it was so old. Filled in the form, sent it off and thought no more about it.

Yesterday's post contained an 'offer' of £1602.22 settlement - the amount I paid, plus £636.38! Well yes, let me think, now, please excuse me while I chew your hand off for that 'offer'!

I can't believe how incredibly easy it was!

Hi, a newbie here. Just wondering if anyone can advise me on claiming for a credit card as I've had the card over twenty years and have no idea how i applied for it. Just can't remember if it was by post or at the bank. I only realised I had PPI from coming on this site. Also I sent off my details for my bank loans about April and have had one letter of acknowledgment dated 30th June and nothing else. From reading some of these posts i realise some people have been waiting a long time for their payouts but should I have received a letter of some sorts by now. Any advice gratefully received.
Well I phoned Lloyds yesterday and was told they had sent three letters out and that the claim wasn't being upheld. Asked for the letter to be sent again and surprise surprise it arrived this morning. It basically says "As a result of this review, I am satisfied that there were no issues with the sale of PPI attached to you personal loans". What should I do now. Any advice please.
