i have just recieved payment for lloyds tsb credit card today for 9052.92
my complaint was first logged june the 6th
recieved upheld letter 8th of september
calculations letter the 15th of september
im just waiting now to hear off them for the four years they missed off credit card, as that had to be logged as a seperate claim because the only paid till 2004 and the card ran from 2001 and and was always maxed out.
like to wish everyone else good luck with there claims and to keep pestering them i did

Hi, I hope they take all your premiums into account. They should put your account back into a state as if you never paid those premiums.
My LloydsTSB card ran from 1997. Upheld letter arrived with amount due to me but there was no breakdown of calculations or any information about what period this covered. Initially, i was happy with the redress offered but wanted some more information on the calculations. I had to ring up to get further details. They told me that they only had statements going back to October 2004 and prior to this date, they "estimated" the PPI based on card usage. Fortunately, I found some of the older statements and was also able to work out my balance on others based on direct debit bank deductions (paying interest only). This came out to be £1000 PPI more than their estimate. It's funny how they always seem to underestimate these things. They obviously assumed I didn't use my card much before 2004. Anyway, I've written another letter asking them to take this into account and demanded they provide me with full calculation details and breakdown of charges,PPI, + Interest.

I have just spoken to Lloyds about my cheque, informing that my calculations letter was dated the 13th September.

The answer was that they are just now clearing the August letters, have taken on extra staff, and that I should call back in "a couple of weeks" to see how far the backlog is down then.

Congratulations to everyone who have received their payments from other banks, (and the FEW with Lloyds.......) ;)

P.S. I WANT MY MONEY lol

Having read some of the posts on here today regarding Lloyds I have realised that the end of August would be 8 weeks today so it looks like I might get my cheque in two weeks time :j(acceptance letter 8th Sept) but I won't hold my breath:rotfl:.

Hmmm...... I wonder which one of us will get the first coveted piece of mail from Lloyds :)

I think they are all reading from the same phone card (giggle)

    Hi all

Well i checked my bank account this morning and i have had a PPI refund credited!!! i have had no letters to say what the offer was or an acceptance form :-\

It shows me a payment for 'PPI refund', a payment for 'Interest', and two further payments (smaller amounts) for 'PPI refund' on two seperate days...

surely i should recieve some form of letter to confirm how they have calculated this :-S

    xx
