    Hi All

Some advice needed please if possible!
I have 2 claims for miss-sold PPI with barclays, one on a morgan stanley card and the other on a barclaycard.

The morgan stanlety was first rejected because the advisor at the meeting gave me all the information, i told them i applied online so they re-opened the case and have now rejected it a second time saying i ticked the box for PPI so it wasnt miss-sold.

The barclaycard one was declined because i ticked the box on the online application, i phoned as this was applied for in the bank with the help of a sales advisor, the case has been re-opened but i dont hold much hope.

my reason for miss selling is not how it was taken out but the fact i had more than adequate cover with full sick pay for 12 months from work.

Anyone got any suggestions on where to go now, should i write to the FOS as Barclays obviously dont want to uphold either of these

Barclaycard also did this to me. I have sent my complaint to the FSO and they are investigating for me. I suggest you do the same, what's the worst that can happen?

    Good Luck:o

im just waiting now to hear off them for the four years they missed off credit card, as that had to be logged as a seperate claim because the only paid till 2004 and the card ran from 2001 and and was always maxed out.
like to wish everyone else good luck with there claims and to keep pestering them i did
  • Hi Kath,

    Well done!

What were your reasons for the mis-selling please?

    Thanks x

I was a student at the time and therefore the ppi would not be valid. ( the bank knew i was as i had a student account with them.)

Received the refund into my account from HFC/Endeavour yesterday £2619.00 and I have a further £250.00 to be paid into my account anytime as well for the distress and inconvenience.

The Marksman, that is a lovely thing you done :T:T, and strangely enough I donated yesterday to Cancer Research as well, as you know both my mum, youngest sister and my dad went through cancer all at the same time.:T:T

Very chuffed on your success honey, again well done!:A xx
