Wooohoooooo I have just had another upheld by Barclays for a £2,000 loan in 1998. I should be getting back £666:j but this may alter as they are checking if I had a refund when I refinanced. I didn't tink I had PPI, but claimed on the off chance and am so glad I did!

I didn't have a copy of the agreement but asked my bank for copy statements for the years I knew I had loans. From the statements I found the agreement numbers and then made the claims myself.

I would like to thank Di3004 you are angel:A, thanks to your help with an email to the MBNA ceo, they have decided to uphold my complaint after giving me a refusal which was a final response.:D

So, to those of you who have been given a final response (mine was because of a ticked box) challenge it and argue your case, they could change their mind like they did with me!!!

    Good Luck:)

That is super! :T Congratulations and you are very welcome, glad they changed the decision in your favour, well done! xxx:beer::A

  • Hi All

Some advice needed please if possible!
I have 2 claims for miss-sold PPI with barclays, one on a morgan stanley card and the other on a barclaycard.

The morgan stanlety was first rejected because the advisor at the meeting gave me all the information, i told them i applied online so they re-opened the case and have now rejected it a second time saying i ticked the box for PPI so it wasnt miss-sold.

The barclaycard one was declined because i ticked the box on the online application, i phoned as this was applied for in the bank with the help of a sales advisor, the case has been re-opened but i dont hold much hope.

my reason for miss selling is not how it was taken out but the fact i had more than adequate cover with full sick pay for 12 months from work.

Anyone got any suggestions on where to go now, should i write to the FOS as Barclays obviously dont want to uphold either of these
    UPHELD PPI COMPLAINTS:
A&L Loan X4, Tesco Loan, Natwest CC, MBNA CC X2, HALIFAX TMPP
    Rejected & with the FOS:
Morgan Stanley CC :(, Barclaycard CC :(
