Found this previous post m8, you could try it.

    02380723838.

The number by the way gets you through to the department that sends out the acknowledgement letters, but that's better than the not obtainable number

Thank you it seems the initial letter is still in the postal system (from personal experience I believe it has been delivered but not signed for)
I'm simply trying to find out if HSBC have put it in their system. As I have had no reply from them (3 wks) I doubt it.
Do you suggest I start again?

Popped into my mums & opened my post which still turns up there & 4 Cheques from Lloyds! Result! :j

    What were you reclaiming:
    PPi on six Loans

    Who was the provider:
    Lloyds Tsb

How much did you get back:
    £8756.74

Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman:
Filled in the questionnaire, waited 16 weeks, got a success letter (sign acceptance letter & return), 4 weeks later calculations & today 4 cheques (3x £1200 & 1x £5156.74) well chuffed ;)

    Big thanks to everyone :):):)

First plus have a 8 days to reply to our complaint . I emailed them last week for an update but so far no response. Should i ring them and remind them that they only have 8 days left or do i give them the benefit and wait. Another payment is due in 2 weeks, taking money which is rightfully mine!!

Hi any advice to what i should do as i was told my redress would be paid by tomorrow but no show so far
  • I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it. My son has just recieved a cheque from Lloyds TSB for mis-sold PPI. He got his calculations on a letter dated 22 August 2011. Don't know whether to frame it, auction it or cash it. He e-mailed CEO 10 October 2011 to complain about length of time it was taking to pay the redress and recieved reply e-mail from customer care manager on 13 October 2011 telling him cheque was in the post. Cheque was dated 10 October 2011. I think someone from Newport must have walked up to Scotland and put it through the letter box to save money and prevent Postman Pat from pinching all these cheques that seem to have gone astray, mine included.

Well done youve given me hope!!!!:T My dates are the same as yours, I had my loan restuctered last week and Im still waiting to find out what they done.
