My hubby is the same...claim been in since jan 2010....got upheld at the begining of july 2011..accepted august & still waiting..you name it, we have done it, rang constantly, sent several emails to the ceo...all to no avail ..they state they have up until the 22nd October 2011 now...they move the goal post every week!! :(:( xx oh and he went with a cmc, who i have emailed several times too as they are doing nothing...it is us who is constantly chasing this up..they are sitting back as they know they will be paid regardless!! :-( xx

It's just awful isn't it. It seems as though anyone who is going through CMC or FOS are having to wait extra long. I can see most people seem to be on 34-35 working days. I am on working day 20 now. Ho hun x
  • I sent claim form off beginning of september 2011, logged on there system 6/9/11.

offer of over £2800 recieved on 13/10/11.
posted back acceotance slip recorded delivery same day.

Hsbc signed for letter on 14/10/11.

Got home from work yesterday to find the money has credited to my account 17/10/11.:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j.

The speed of my claim may have something to do with the fact that i emailed the ceo of HSBC at every stage.

My claim took approx 6 weeks

That is brilliant!!! I am currently on week 19 of my claim, working day 20 since my acceptance was received by RBS (not the date I sent it, or I would be on working day 25 or something)
I have emailed the CEO twice and eventually got a 'holding letter' back last week.
I'm not holding out much hope.
Well done to you though! I am hoping my MBNA, Halifax, Capital One and Barclays claims won't be 'so' painful !

  • Hi 50 working days since they received my acceptance of their offer. Will phone again today for a "progress" report. I am waiting for a large amount but it is money they have wrongfully taken over a long period of time. I have always been self emloyed. Will let you know when I'm not fed up.

Congratulations to all those who have had their money returned.
