PPI Reclaiming successes and failures

Hi, just a quick question. Do the banks usually keep you waiting the full amount of weeks (16 inmy case) and then reject? I'm on about week 9

Which baby are you waiting on? I was thinking the opposite, are they stinging out as long as possible before paying out on successful claims? I have two claims in with RBS, one on week 9 and one on week 10.

Was just wondering if anyone had received their RBS payout yet?

I have heard people saying they are now on working day 35 with no payment yet!

Like everyone else, I am so desperate for this money now :mad:

Hi, I'm waiting on HSBC, had the usual 8 week letter to say still looking into complaint.
I think I'm going to try and think your way, i'm trying not to spend a potential win in my head but with bills ever climbing and Christmas around the corner it's not easy especially when I've got a 10 year old who would like what his friends have and a 3 year old that wants Argos lol

Hi All,

Well heard back from M&S Money this was a store card taken out in 2004 after initial rejecting my complaint i asked them to reconsider based upon i never received a copy of the terms on my agreement ppi was not ticked this was added on by them and also i could claim from my company for 6 months full pay 6 months half pay, and get what they have upheld my claim however im not sure on the calcs!

PPI Redress £621.85
Contractual Interest £124.62
8% Statutory Intrest £8.18

Total Offer £754.65

I think the contactual interest is very low along with the 8% anyone have an idea what it should be or whether these figures are correct before i accept.

the card was taken in 2005 card rate 18.9% apr on purchases paid ppi for 3 years till 2008 when it was entered onto a dmp.

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posts on here for making me feel I am not alone in my quest to get my money from Lloyds TSB.
I had my claim upheld :j (£2,555) letter was dated 8th Sept but I am still waiting for my money. After trying to contact the 'dedicated helpline' several times and holding for up to an hour at times only to be fobbed off I was losing hope but reading that other people are going through the same thing has lifted my spirits somewhat so thank you.

In the mean time I have decided to trawl through mine and my partners paperwork and found more PPI's to claim for which I have done. My claim with Barclay card resulted in the usual fob off letter so that went straight to the FOS I am waiting to hear (will let you know outcome). Also found 2 Lloyds TSB loans and Abbey Loan accounts for my partner which are still being investigated. I also helped my sister and her partner to claim so hopefully it will be a good xmas for our family!!!

No, you are not alone waiting for LLoyds.

I was told I would get over four thousand pounds from LLoyds, a lot more than I anticipated, well pleased with that!!

The last letter said I would be paid the full sum plus the interest up to the 5th October, so I am waiting too.

Can anyone advise on how long they are REALLY taking to pay out???

Hi,

I have been waiting the same time as you my 3 claims were upheld on the 8th September.
I phoned them last week and they said it is 6 weeks from the 8th September which will make it Thursday this week their deadline is up.
I am also getting very fed up with waiting for payment when everyone else seems to get theirs straight away!!.
Lets hope this week we shall see our payments!! Good luck with other claims!! :beer:
