I checked my bank account today as I usually get a text from them each day telling me how much I'm overdrawn and this had nt happened today. I was extremely please to see they had paid me direct to bank - £2470!!!!

I received my offer letter on 24 September and disputed the amount on 26 Sept, as 2 years prior to 2004 have not been added to the calculation. I was told that it was too late to stop the original offer being paid but they would recalculate and send the difference at a later date. Im very sceptical of what info LLoyds give me nowadays so I rang to check this on 11 Oct and I was also told that the original offer payment would take at least 3 more weeks.

    So Im chuffed!
So offer to payment in 3 weeks!

well done my offer of ppi refund letter was 12th august - after yours and youve got pay before - :T

I have just won back my overdraft protection from Barclays to the tune of £1972.00.

Anyone with a Barclays additions account scan your statement to see if you have been paying overdraft protection which you didn't know about. I did and claimed MY money back!!!!!

I would like to Thank Di, Amsersall, Niggly and the usual suspects.

I want to specially thank Di, as with your help in writing an email to the CEO of MBNA, they are now reviewing the refusal (final response) they gave me, and will get back to me in a few weeks.

How can Lloyds say theyre being fair to customers and processing them in date order, some people had their letters in August and havent been paid, some like allofushere have only had theirs a few feeks. Its not fair at all!!!!

    Hello Dilus

I sent a letter to Bank Of Scotland on 6th July and they said they would aim to get back to me by 24th October. I received the letter today although the letter was dated for 5th October. So around about 12-13 weeks estimated. They have added the 8% interest to 2nd November so I believe I should receive the cheque by then. I hope that helps.

Hi, I disputed my offer for similar reasons. Lloyds have paid me the first offer amount and have told me that they will recalculate and then refund any more monies I'm owed. I was told when I disputed my offer that it was too late to halt the refund payment so they had to do it like this.
I was a bit dubious about it at first cos i thought once I'd been paid that was the end to my claim. So, I rang again and it was confirmed they would reassess my claim and refund any difference between the first and second offer. I was advised however to confirm this when I
    received the first payment.

Hi Vicki. I got my Lloyds offer letter at the end of August. This was then followed up by a letter with figure break-down about 20 days later. I'd give them a ring if I was you.

    Hi
I was told that my complaint was agreed on 22 August, No figures from Lloyds, Phoned on 22 Sept to ask where the figures were, was told they were sent 20 sept, I have phoned several times since then but still no figures but I was told that as I had signed the form with the letter sent on 22 August even though I had not seen the figures my claim was marked as offer accepted on 20 Sept and I should receive my cheque within 28 days, this expires on 18 October, I have tried e-mailing them but was told I could not be given any info because of "Data Protection":eek:, this is a load of rubbish as I gave them info via the e-mail that only I would have known.

I phoned them to ask them to speed my payment and calculations up as mum has to have heart surgery in the next few weeks, asked if I could be put on the 'fast track Spreadsheet' mentioned on here, I was told this was only for those missed of off the original spreadsheet. Lloyds are a complete muddle.
