Thrilled to bits for you "flower". That is great news. Shouldn't be far behind you as they received my letter of acceptance on 05/09/11. So nice to hear of someone getting money back from RBS. Well done!!:beer::beer::beer:
Topkapi !!!!!
I got some of my money this morning!!!!!...never realised it was in two payments over 2 loan/consolidations but something is better than nothing I guess. Maybe I'll even get the 2nd amount tomorrow.
Really hoping this means you will get some/all of your money tomorrow too....thinking of you !Insanity is just a constant phase I'm going through0 -

Hi There,
I sent two claims off, one to HFC Bank (part of HSBC) and one to Lloyds TSB, they were both sent in May.
So far I have received a full refund of £5500 from HFC but nothing from Lloyds.
I had a letter from them in August saying they were making me an offer but no figures have been mentioned. I was to sign the acceptance form and send it back they would then work it all out and get back to me. As of today still nothing.
Does anyone have any ideas what they are playing at and how long this may take.0 -
Hi all,
Sent my initial complaint to HSBC on 29th June 2011. I have had an offer letter through the post today for the sum of £12,629.26. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
The 8% interest added to my acceptance offer was calculated up until today. I'm with Lloyds and it seems as though they are still processing Aug claims. I recieved my offer in September. So it could still be a while before I recieve the cheque that is due. Now, I have just about enough patience to wait a bit longer, but my final amount should be higher due to additional interest racking up from tomorrow onwards right?2018 wins: Hong Kong holiday0

:mad:Andstillwaiting wrote: »HI... I have been reading the posts with great interest, we had a large loan £15K with RBS about 5 years ago, we repaid it early as we remortgaged our ex house, the ppi was £5K on the loan and over 5 years payments were £520 ish a month, we put a claim in with RBS September 2010 and were told to go away in so many words, so we filed with the ombudsman, just found an email from them dated March 2011 telling us our case was still waiting for an adjudicator, we then got a letter in July telling us that our complaint had been successful and that we were going to made an offer as a gesture of goodwill, bearing in mind they owe us about £5K plus interest, I think we are looking at something around £9K, give or take a few quid..... to date nothing, cannot get through on the phone, letters sent recorded, no reply..... I know its a matter of time, but I really want to go on holiday at Xmas!!... looks like it will be turkey at home then... I will keep reading the posts... makes me feel a lot better to know that other people are in the same boat...
