Morning all..spoke to Deloitte this morning re: my ppi claim that has been ongoing since March this year. He told me a decision has been made and I should recieve a letter soon, he mentioned a "returned offer" as stupid as it seems can sum1 clarify what I think this means!!! :-)

    Emma x

Looking Good then Emma, well done!

I am not sure about the returned offer though, but maybe the calculations were incorrect and they had to go through it again, just what I think but could be wrong. x;)

  • Hi all, been using this forum for a while now and have got some great advice and information about PPI claims so thought i would join and thank everyone :T

Ive had several successfull claims back in 2009 for bank charges, ppi on loads, credit card charges etc and am now claiming against miss sold ppi. I am employed by a very large world wide company and receive very good sickness benefits and redundancy payouts so the ppi i had was never needed and the banks, despite knowing i was covered in all aspects still continued to sell me the ppi

so far successfully claimed from tesco loans, natwest credit card, 2 alliance and leicester cards, all succesfull after sending just 1 letter to each, so far received about £3,000 in refunds.

am currently waiting to hear from barclaycard, morgan stanley, halifax mortgage tmpp & alliance and leicester. all of these claims date back to early 2000. Morgan stanley was initially rejected untill i phoned them and told them there rejection reasons were complete rubish and not possible so the case was re-opened despite there final response of not upheld :T

it will be interesting to see what happens with the others now
    UPHELD PPI COMPLAINTS:
A&L Loan X4, Tesco Loan, Natwest CC, MBNA CC X2, HALIFAX TMPP
    Rejected & with the FOS:
Morgan Stanley CC :(, Barclaycard CC :(

Finally answered the phone to me this morning!

They told me that they are "a week or two behind payments" Shock horror, what a surprise! Wouldn’t give me a date or chase up for me, but said they'd pay interest for every day they are late in making the payment, which will be applied at time of sending me my redress. Has anyone else had this and can they confirm they do apply?

I gave the girl what for about the phone ringing constantly, apparently there's only thirty of them in the team and they are constantly answering the phone.

I got the exact same answer yesterday when I rang!!

    Mine was due yesterday!
  • Rang First Plus yesterday to ask when I would get my cheque (8 weeks up today - they received my acceptance on 17/8/11 so exactly 8 weeks ago). The just took my number and said someone would call me back within 24 hours. They rang me back this morning and just said that the cheque had been processed and a letter date 11/10/11 (yesterday) had been sent stating that the cheques were on their way (apparently the amount for 8% is a separate cheque for some reason). I am at work and wont know if the postman has brought me a nice letter until I get home!! I am going home early to check and if its there it will be straight to the bank - but I am not holding my breath I bet the cheques havent even been sent out yet!!!

Hi All, just a quick thank you to everybody for the help and guidance available on this forum. My partner and I have eventually had an offer for £3700 from HSBC - just hopefully we'll receive the money before christmas haha.

    Thanks again!

Just had a great piece of post. Hubby & I were looking at finances back in June and it suddenly twigged that all the news about PPI was something I had cancelled on a couple of credit cards last year.

Sent a couple of claims in July and had the 1st one finally come in with TESCO offerering £870 inc interest. I think we had worked out that they owed about £500 so very happy here.
