PPI Reclaiming successes and failures

I phone just to make sure that they had received all 6 of my offer letters back but I was told that they had only received 5 of them and that they would resend a copy of the letter for me to sign and send back again!

Even though I have the letters to hand stating their offers I keep thinking some how some way they will try and not pay within 28 working days!!

Anyone else had any payments from RBS recently?

Hi, I am now on day 11 since I sent back my offer letter to RBS and when I rang yesterday they couldn't give me an update. Will post again once I received cheque (hopefully).

There is no harm in giving it ago!

you prob already know the info and what you need to do regarding making a claim, so wont go into that again.

As for getting the loan account numbers:

• if you have online banking check how far back it will let you go to get account numbers of these loans.
• Just phone up the bank/cc company and ask as they are all aware now of mis-selling
• best option which worked for me (going back to 1994). I called into my local branch and got a print out of all loan accounts, accont numbers, start & finish dates
• or you can request a SAR which will go back the last 5years and may be even more, i know others have. this cost £10 and details & a template letter can be found on a thread here.

my success stories
i downloaded the forms from martin lewis's website for my son
my son claimed back nearly £6000 FROM LLOYDS on his mortgage, and also claimed back nearly £500 FROM LLOYDS CREDIT CARD, due to mis sold ppi.
which was a nice surprise and a bonus for christmas.
i would advise anyone to download the forms and claim.

Hoorray, yippeee (smilies lost again!!).

Went home at lunch time and low and behold postie brought some glad tidings!

Old Alliance and Leicester cc complaint upheld. One problem in my excitement, I have the form signed and posted on my way back to work. Am now wondering is the figures ok.. Help please......

Total Monthly Premiums £728.13
Interest to date £728.13
Total Premiums + Interest £1,627.05

Now I am not for one minute trying to be greedy, but should there have been another 8% added on to this amount??

I am waiting for a cheque from Nat West too - they said it would be within 28 working days of them receiving my acceptance. I sent it back on 30/8/11 but havent heard anything yet - have tried to ring them to check if they received it but the number just rings and rings and rings!!

Same with me mine was sent back on 5th September though, just ringing out

I should add they confirmed to me they received my acceptance form back on the 5th.
