Di, how come you quote each post individually when you are congratulating people and thanking them?

You could just multi-quote them and do one post and congratulate everyone on it.

It would save you loads of time x. :D

  • What were you reclaiming: Credit card
Who was the provider: Lloyds tsb
How much did you get back: £3641.46 plus £128.80 interest. :j:j:j
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: I got it back after a letter.

I sent ombudsman questionnaire on the 10th of May, a couple of weeks later I got a reply saying they'd get back to me within eight weeks. In July I got a letter saying they would get back to me within 16 weeks rather than 8. At the end of August I got a letter saying they'd uphold my claim and I had to sign a form and send it back, they would then send out my offer. I received the offer on Saturday, just over 4 months since my first letter. I'm very pleased and we're using it to pay the card off. Hoping to have a clean slate in the next few months. I called them today and they've said it should be in our account within 6 weeks of them receiving the form we sent back 3 weeks ago so should have it by middle of October.

  • Hi there again,
Got the calculations from OPUS today, they give a monthly PPI figure from the start of the card (from Citicards), and then add the 8% interest etc. It all seems in order so will send the form off am.
Congrats to all who have succeeded.

I sent the acceptance form off on 19th Sept, rang them up today to see what was happening. They only received the acceptance letter today! They also said that it would take approx. 2 weeks to get into my bank account. We shall see!
