Hi Moggy
Have you also tried emailing the CEO of Barclays?
Tell them its a simple question and your not happy with being fobbed off with the same old answer that they don't know!
Tell them as a valued customer of the bank you believe they should treat you fairly and give a firm answer, keep at them, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Jody
First of all well done on your success!
Going by some other posts, this does seem to be right, annoying as it is, but make sure they also pay you interest to date as well, which should I believe be more now because of the waiting.
You could otherwise email the customer service team and tell them you urgently require your money now for personal reasons, good luck.

My current payment is £527 and is due to go down to £435 for whihc I am delighted, however I have found out that my October payment is going to be £543 due to the "re-scheduling" of my loan as aresult of my PPI calim. Has this happened to anyone else as I just don't think it seems right that I am paying more when they oen mw money?! They have advised that I will get the money back but given how long it is taking so far I'd rather not have to pay out extra and as apoint of principal I don't see why I should!
Any advice on this would be much appreciated
Hi there
Contact them and question them on this, tell them you understood your repayments will now be coming down and wondering why you have details as from Oct 2011 to pay still a higher amount.
If they are refunding you, the repayments should be lower in my opinion, otherwise its like paying for it all over again, do mention that in your query, good luck and please keep us updated, cheers x;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

I queried this with them and they advised that it can take up to 2 weeks for the cheques to be recieved by me - has anyone else been told this by them? Or is it another delay tactic?
Thanks
Hi - when did they receive your acceptance letter?
They received outs on 17/8/11 and it will be 6 weeks on Wednesday 28/9/11 so just wondering how much longer we have to wait.0 -

By my calculations youd be due to get back
51 x 50.50 = £2575.50, plus
8% interest on each payment from when it was made = £444.09
Making a total of £3019.59, this is just a rough figure making payment on first of month and last payment made on 1st september, and thats to date, obviously it may be a couple of months before you get your decision and you may have more monthly payments to make but you'll get more interest as that should work this out to when they are refunding you.
Good luck, welcome to the forum and if there's anything else don't hesitate to ask.:DThanks to all the competition posters.0
