Hi Everyone
Been reading the forum for a while now as a relation posts on here regular but this is my first post. Sent my signed acceptance form back to Lloyds on 25/8/2011 heard nothing to date!!!! Have just fired an email off to their customer care address outlining the delay and that I have card statements from 2002 and am willing to supply them (lol) and will be requiring a full breakdown of payments, interests and simple interests included in their offer for a independent finacial review before any acceptance is made.
Let the games begin.
Hi there Craig, yeah get in touch with them ,i have already had my calculation inwhich i have emailed back, not happy with there figures, and mine went back after yours,so get in touch and give them some stick,as they are supposed to be doing them in date order, they told me they scanned mine in on about 2/09/2011.
I dont feel Lloyds are paying out the correct redress.that we are all due, also everyone check what bank account number comes back on your calculations, they were apparantley going to pay mine into some-one else's bank account!!!!! Oh yes got my name wrong as well. Thanks Lloyds Tsb

Good News
After waiting since Jan 2011 and lots of letters back and forward to find MBNA has refused the claim on my CC which I hadn't claimed on, I spoke to a lady in the Customer Advocate Office last Monday and today received a letter confirming both my claims had been upheld. I have no idea of numbers but with my RBS money I should be debtfree for the first time in 20 years, and as my OH said ' All thanks to MSE' so a big thankyou once again to everyone on this site and good luck to those still claiming

Does anyone know of a higher authority to go to? Strikes me its just one big cosy club - and they're all just closing ranks to protect each other!!
Have they had their 8 weeks to pay you out yet? Thanks to all the competition posters.0 -
You could ask your MP to contact them, don't know if they're a higher power though, they're probably in the bankers back pocket too, I don't think i've met an MP who has helped someone with this yet.

Hi, Where do you get this 8 weeks time-scale from, I have spoken to the Halifax today who gave me no time-scales even though i kept pressing them for one...!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:Money Saving-Reclaiming-And Won!!!:j:j:j:j:j

Thank you Martyn and everyone else - I followed this site for months before I plucked up courage to send the forms in. I have been self-employed for the last 16 years and so eventually it clicked I had been a victim of mis-selling. 2 successful claims against Abbey (Santander), advised 27 August by Bank of Scotland that they are upholding complaint about Sainsbury's Credit Card PPI and refunding all premiums paid (inclusive of interest), advised 18 August by M&S Money that they are upholding complaint and offering full refund of premiums paid (plus interest) for both Personal Reserve and previous loan account. That is just fantastic - just waiting for the figures now (like the rest of the world....)
BUT ......... came unstuck with M&S Credit Card (I have read about lots of people receiving the same response). They advised that the application was completed in store in own time, so no advice could have been given to me, that the sale is deemed "non-advised", that policy documents were issued detailing benefits, exclusions and cancellation rights, that the full cost of the insurance was outlined on the application form which I could have queried before signing, that they will take into account the fact that I was not self-employed at the time of the application, that, in signing the overall credit agreement, I was happy with the contents of the application form and the accounts terms and conditions, that the policy was charged o a monthly basis for over 23 years and clearly detailed and I could have contacted at any time to query or cancel this policy, that they wrote to inform that they were transferring the Chargecard to a masterCard account, which also included details about the transfer of PPI, that they wrote in January 2007 to make me aware of some changes to PPI and I did not contact them to question or cancel the policy, that at the time of the sale of this policy, M&S FS acted as an unregulated intermediary as they were not a bank or member of GISC. Therefore they have rejected my complaint.
I have since delved back into then employment benefits at this time and see that I was eligible for 6 months full pay benefit if sick, followed by 2/3 benefit of salary for the following 6 months. I have proof of this.
Is it worth following it up? Do I write to M&S or go to FOS? Also, I have been self-employed for a long period of the life of the card...
Many thanks for your help.Abbey National (Santander) Paymentcare £6,700 :T
