My original acceptance letter from Barclaycard sent on 9th August never arrived. By the time I got another one sent and returned it, it was 25th August. No sign of that being credited to my bank either as yet.

They (barclays) received my acceptance on the 9th Sept no moneys have reached my account as yet.

barclays recieved my acceptance on the 6th they told me last week it will be the end of the month to recieve my money rang again today they told me it might be a bit longer:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Who is the provider: Central Trust
How much did you get back: So far - nothing!
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: Initial complaint made to Central Trust started July 2010 - nothing. Escalated to adjudicator Feb 2011 - who found in our favour - nothing. Escalated to ombudsman May 2011. So far - nothing. Informed 19th September that it could be another year!!
And then write your brief rant: A year on from initially complaining, to be told it could be yet another year, is totally unacceptable. If I miss just a handful of mortgage repayments I'll be in court within months. Who do I complain to to get the FSA to get it's act together and unstick our money? So far we are owed c£10k. By this time next year it will be nearly £12k!?! We're already deep in the financial do-do and the £130 a month we're still paying for a defunct PPI could be all it takes to get an IVA - we could now be well on the way to getting out of the merde!! It makes me wanna @#/%$!!!**!

Hi When I sent my LloydsTSB acceptence back I ticked to SMS text updates. I've had heard anything since. I sent the letter back end of August, has anyone had a text from Lloyds or do I wait for the letter? Lol getting impatient to find out how much redress Ill be getting.

Hi All

Recent user of the sight, have followed everyones threads carefully, well done to all who have won.
Recent complaint with First Plus re our ppi due outcome next week after 16 weeks. However after the initial letter from them thanking me for my contact, followed by another 24th of June stating my complaint would be dealt with by the 26th of August, have since said on telephone this was a mistake, and another letter 1st July stating there would be a further update August 1st to which I have never received. Several phone calls have since taken place, taking names as reference, promises letters will be sent but none as yet!
Further phone call today and spoke to nice young lady who said my complaint is being investigated tomorrow so should here soon. Problem is I have been told several times my complaint is being investigated so should I believe them?

Give them a call, I haven't recieved any txts either but recieved a full letter with explanations and amounts last week

What were you reclaiming: loan
Who was the provider: lloyds tsb
How much did you get back: 11,000 (just had confirmation in print, haven't had money back yet)
Did you get it back after a letter or did you go to the Financial Ombudsman: after a letter and a 14 week wait, another 21 day wait for the money into account
And then write your brief reclaim tale: reclaimed for one loan, but as the load was used to refinance other loans with ppi, they tracked the ppi refund accross four loans. result!!!

Secured loan with Black Horse paid off 4 years ago, letter sent in using templates from your site , took full 16 weeks however have just heard the complaint has been upheld and I am being refunded £4632. Result. Go on guys try it even if you think its too late to claim. I didnt even have the old agreement number and had to ring the company to get it from them. It was worth it. thanks Martin

Just letting you know of a hiccup I've had with my Barclays claim. I submitted a claim in June this year and sent in the FOS form as requested recorded delivery. This week I've had a letter from them asking me to fill in the enclosed FOS form to assist their investigation. Just spoke to someone in their complaints team who confirmed that they don't have it on their system so it must have gone astray despite me having proof that they received it. I have to send it again but they did confirm that it won't affect how quickly they deal with my complaint as its still in a queue.

My original plan was to just sit patiently and wait until the mid October deadline but in view of this I think I may need to keep chasing them just to make sure they're dealing with it.

Update: I sent them another, again recorded delivery, and rang today to check they'd received it. They confirmed they'd received the original back in July. They're useless. I'm so glad I closed my bank account with them.
