Hi Tiger. I sent them off the card number only, I didn't have any further details at all or the policy number. They did tell me, however, that they couldn't find any statements so had to rely on what I could find. I would argue the fact about the policy number as I can absolutely guarantee that I not only didn't have it, but that I still don't know it now! I found my best response came from a shirty email to the CEO who then put me in touch with their Director's office. The email I used was david.chan@barclaycard.co.uk, and I had my first written response within 5 days. Hope this helps.

After just waiting in the telephone queue for 50 minutes I am chuffed to tell you that I have had my claim with LTSB (credit card) UPHELD!!!!!!
I cannot tell you how pleased I am!!!! They did say they sent me a letter on 19 August which, curiously, (tsk) has not materialised yet and so they would send me a copy. I was told to sign, return and, if I had n't heard within 8 weeks, call them back.

Now we'll wait and see what they offer!! GOOD TIMES!!!!!

well ive just had a phone call from a person from santander to speak to me about my email i fired off this morning she said she is now dealing with my case and she is very sorry that i have had to wait so long for my refund.she is going to speak to the calculations team tomorrow get the interest adding on and send out the cheque first class recorded so it will be with me by the end of the week she is going to ring me tomorrow and let me know how much it is and that its been sent, thanks amersall for letting me have the ceo email address

just have to wait to hear from egg

Hi everyone. I haven't been on here for ages, as my compter broke down. Hope every-one is doing okay?. Anyway at thtoe end of my tether with m. I had called two weeks after my acceptance form was received on the 18th Aug, to be told that they were working to 28 working days. Called last night to be told that although form was recvd on this day, the redress team did not get this until 2nd Sept!!!!
I advised them that I did not see how they could treat my claim this. He advised he would send an email to them advising of the correct date. I called them today to make sure he did this and lo and behold the girl said that they have no record of this and they do not record calls due to the volume of 2,000 calls a day. She also advised that they have changed the timescale and it's not 28 days anymore and she can't give me a timescale.

I read on a post from a chap who said his accept form was recvd 26th aug and was told his would be dealt b with on 13th Sept as they were diarising dates. Could he advise where he got
this info please.

ok very quick reply from egg ceo assistant sue alexsander telling me mr phils no longer is the ceo of egg but she is forwarding my email on to the egg complaints department to deal with hmmm ive dealt with them loads of times to know avail

Arrhhhh got home today and still no letter from HSBC ... is anyone else waiting on them still or am i the only one ???

I was told by end of Aug :mad::mad::mad:

do people think its work ringing them to find out if it has been upheld or not? .. has anyone phoned HSBC ??? do they tell you or not??

evening all... we have been a long time reader and thought id get in touch to let you know of our win against first plus we have just had our offer for £4112.30 so we have sent of the form and sit and wait for the cheque to arrive.... its took since april so keep positive and youll get there....good luck

does anyone know how long it will take for the ppi to go into my bank after i have sent the letter off today, i am asking because some people are saying different things. is it up to 28 working days or calander days or can it be quicker if you still bank with them?:(
