Hi all, I posted in a Lloyds topic last week, I have also received a letter from Lloyds, I had 3 ppi claims, and they have been upheld :j I've sent back the acceptance form so just waiting now for a total figure.

All the loans have been paid off now. it was a long time ago and they were for a total of £24k (crazy spending period of my life) Not sure how much of a ppi refund to expect!

I've also just put in a claim for my Llloyds credit card ppi too! :)

Good luck to those still waiting, congrats to those who have been successful.

    Regards

    Hi
Has anyone got any news on when Barclays are paying out? They have had my acceptance letter since 9th Aug for £12,310. Made loads of calls and get a different payment date each time. Mailed Bob Diamond on Friday and not even a response either. I know its not a long time to wait but I just wish that they would advise when the payment will be made.

Oh and I got a letter on Saturday to say that they are increasing credit card rate from 27.7% to 29.9% :(:(

    PIP

I have now received an email from Bob Diamond's (Barclays CEO) office just to say that they are dealing with a high number of refunds and that cannot say when the payment will be made.

I just wish that their call centre provided consistent information on payment dates and people wouldnt get their hopes up thinking that payments would be made soon when in fact they dont even know when they will be made.

    Not impressed at all.

Good luck to everyone else and hope there are some winners today

Hello to all, been reading this forum for ages been great to read other peoples stories. Am a bit stuck myself now and getting TIRED and CONFUSED.

I have been looking into my husbands old loans and credit cards for PPI's that he took out years ago with no idea what he was doing and no need for them as his job paid sickness and a large redundancy because he has worked for local authority forever.

We have had one major success with an Egg credit card of 2834.68 so far which spurred me on to keep going,:j but growing a bit weary.

Had a letter back from MBNA today stating that they brought the debt from Alliance and Leicester Visa and that when they took over my husband was givin the opportunity to back out but "As a goodwill gesture" they will pay
    £131.66
76.78 ppi paid since changed to MBNA
    10.62 Interest associated with PPI
    47.26 8% interest

Can anyone advise me if this sounds right?

Good luck to all out there who are trying!:j
Hi there, you could try a complaint to Santander for the ppi you paid on the card when you had this with them, you never know you might be lucky.
All you need is the card number.
Give them a ring and see how you stand.http://www.santander.co.uk/csgs/Satellite?appID=abbey.internet.Abbeycom&c=Page&canal=CABBEYCOM&cid=1210607166846&empr=Abbeycom&leng=en_GB&pagename=Abbeycom%2FPage%2FWC_ACOM_TemplateA2
  • Hi, new to all this. Just sent my complaint to Black Horse Finance today and my complaint to LTSB for a selection of Loans and credit card has been acknowledged last week with a timescale of 16 weeks. Have been reading some positive messages on here so far

  • morning guys i hope everyones well and you have all had succcesses right so im having a total nightmare with santander and my burtons menswear claim i had my claim upheld 2 and half months ago and apparently they have now sent me out two cheques but they have both failed to arrive!!!! i have been on the phone to tania steward several times which is costing me a fortune as its 10p a minute i last spoke to her friday and said she would ring my mobile on friday and get right on it for me guess what nothing!!!! phoned her today and she said all she can do is order another cheque WHICH IS GOING TO TAKE ANOTHER 2 WEEKS!!! she said it will have to be recalculated because of the extra length of time its taken to get my cheque to me. it really is a joke now so im going to write an email to the ceo does anyone have the ceo address for santander please?

i also am having trouble with egg they up held in my favour again about 2 months ago but only back tpo 2005 when i was paying it all the way back to 2003 so i sent in evidence of this and they sent it back in to be recalulated 2 months and several phone calls later and i havent received anything from them either i am hacked right off if they have upheld in my favour surely the recalulation should be sorted asap!!! so also writing to egg ceo so has any one got that address also please

im feeling !!!!ed right off today :( my egg credit card has gone over and ive got a missed payment charge as ive had to wait so long:mad:
