Thanks, a friend of mine has claimed refund of ppi recently and he gave me the e-mail address of the halifax ceo so I have e-mailed him. Should I fill in the questionnaire, send a letter or phone too or will this just be overkill at this early point? Di x

    Hiya

Personally I would not ring, you can either complete the reclaim questionnaire which replaced the template letter, or of course write a letter of you're own words, even though it seems they prefer that we complete questionnaire's now.

    Good luck.;)

Has anyone claimed refund of ppi from Littewoods Catalogue?
    Diane

    Hi Diane

I believe there have been some who have tried making reclaims via Littlewoods, it does ring the bell on coming across these posts, if you have a case then go fot it, good luck, and ask for any further help if required.;)

  • Just rang RBS and spoke to my "dedicated claims handler for Direct Line Loans" and she has advised me that my claim hasn't even been worked on yet and that we are working to a strict date complaints received, so seeing as mine went in to them last August, I may have some time to wait, although she did say everyone should get an answer by 31st August, so it would appear to me RBS are sitting on their hands right up to the last minute :mad:

    Hiya

Sorry to hear this, but I would recontact and ask if that was final because the letter does not state this? this is in case we can write further.

    GO FOR IT :rotfl:

    Hi

I've rang them and they were very friendly, took all my details. I advised the reasons for mis-selling as follows:

    1. We were not told at the time of taking out the loan that the PPI was optional. 2. We had adequate cover to pay the loan should we be out of work due to illness, redundancy etc via our employers.

They will send me a letter of acknowledgement in the next 5 working days. They advised it can take up to 16 weeks for completion. I will keep you posted and ask everyone to keep their fingers crossed.

    Hiya

Some will ask if you can provide some further proof - but if the account was taken out and still being paid for within the last 6 years, they should still hold these details.

Sorry I cannot remember the year you taken this out?? Cheers xx:)

Just make sure its 100% Santander! ;););););) Did you phone them etc and from a number you have used before

they may be asking this as the loan or CC is outside of 6yrs and will need proof you paid it
