Oh how frustrating and a year too!! what on earth is happening, a year is more than ample time, have you emailed the CEO of DL?

Yes emailed Stephen Hester a month ago and this lady rang me back gave me her details and said she would be dealing with my case. Don't see this as TCF but hey ho will have to wait until 31 August and see what happens have a nasty suspicion they will be asking for more time...again!!! Can't really see why its taking so long and why no one (apparently) has even worked on it yet:mad:

    Hi All

Nothing major to report but i know a few people were in the same boat as me so just giving others some hope

I am dealing with an A& L loan from a few years ago and kept emailing Santander but just getting auto replies back

Last night i emailed the ceo@santander.co.uk and this morning received a phone call saying that they may have a lil problem finding the archiving files as only go back 5/6 yes but we said well we have the docs so they then went onto say oh we have a good team here leave it with us and someone will be back in touch with you before end of working day

So my advice here is if you are only getting auto replies like i was take it higher

    xx

To be fair they have been the best I have dealt with.....And I have dealt with a few so far.....

    Good luck.

    Hiya

Some will ask if you can provide some further proof - but if the account was taken out and still being paid for within the last 6 years, they should still hold these details.

Sorry I cannot remember the year you taken this out?? Cheers xx:)

    Taken out 2004

    Paid off 2006

    Loan was for 7k

    > £1625.72 plus interest @ 11.4%. The Loan amount was £7,500 plus interest @ 11.4&

if thats any help to anyone xx

  • I emailed the MBNA CEO and had no reply at all, today I sent another email to him.

What are the chances of getting a reply? has anyone else had problems with contact form Ian O'Doherty at MBNA?

Just make sure its 100% Santander! ;););););) Did you phone them etc and from a number you have used before

they may be asking this as the loan or CC is outside of 6yrs and will need proof you paid it
