hey all - no cheques for me today but a load of letters (no bills today)

3 letters from barclay card saying the info i requested will be with me shortly from the relevant dept.

Too late i already emailed the CEO and think i got on his nerves

my 2nd email to him yesterday at 11 after the postie came was -

    Dear Mr Chan

Following from my emal this morning my postie has just been and what did i receive in the post?

A letter from barclay card dated the 11th July (posted the 19th) does it take 6working days to put a letter in an envelope??

How many times do i need to provide this info. Either you are paying them too much or not enough for them to be so easy going about this.

The wait is killing me too and its only been 2 weeks with rbs/natworst..... I just think that it should be pretty cut and dry either uphold or dont ........why does it take them 16 weeks to make a decision you just feel like they are weighing up the risks rather than admit that mis-selling was totally the name of the game.... its the summer get students in to open and sort the paper work.... or something..

they told me the same, I called Santander on the number Amersall provided, they took the details in a 5 min phone conversation, asked me why I felt I was mis sold, then said I would have letter within 14 days or so. Very easy and they understood why I was talking to them after talking to MBNA. this was the link to the phone number. http://www.santander.co.uk/csgs/Satellite?appID=abbey.internet.Abbeycom&c=Page&canal=CABBEYCOM&cid=1210607166846&empr=Abbeycom&leng=en_GB&pagename=Abbeycom%2FPage%2FWC_ACOM_TemplateA2

I (well it's my husbands) have an MBNA formerly Abbey credit card which MBNA have upheld the complaint (awaiting the chq). They stated that the PPI paid was £666, I assumed that this was including the old Abbey card although I did think the amount was a bit light.
So would my claim not have included the PPI paid on the old Abbey card?? Should I be making another complaint to Santander?

From the email they sent me, I would def go back and ask the question,

Please be advised that following a review of this complaint I have identified that MBNA acquired this account from Abbey and that the sale of PPI was made by them prior to MBNA becoming the service provider.
When the account was transferred to MBNA new PPI policy terms and conditions were issued to you and you were given the opportunity to cancel the policy should the new terms and conditions not meet your requirements.

However, as a gesture of goodwill, we will agree to refund the premiums and associated interest that have been charged by MBNA since the date of transfer to be made in line with FOS guidelines upon receipt of the signed settlement. Again, the FOS should contact you regarding this offer.
