Ok Amersall and Di, the Norton response has arrived, about 5 pages of it, they state they have followed all the guidelines set out by the fsa and a their rep followed them as per word, they state it was optional,(it does say this) they state we had time (30 days cooling off) it states we were informed it was a single premium policy which was put onto the full loan and would attract interest over the term bla bla they also state they can not provide the a disc with the calls they state archived calls around that time are unrecoverable as the data is corrupt, it all seems like legal this that and the other, they also state that they only had one product available.
Is this the final response and you can take it to FOS?.

it states we were informed it was a single premium policy which was put onto the full loan and would attract interest
But they would not have told you that this was only covering you for 5 years.
they also state they can not provide the a disc with the calls they state archived calls around that time are unrecoverable as the data is corrupt,
    Not as corrupt as Norton.

So it is off to FOS we go.

You make copies of the "excuses" that Norton have given to put in with your complaint.

it does state 60 months on the form,,,,,,,,,,,
I know, but this is a mis sell of frontloaded ppi and you were not told the full cost of this product.

Download the FOS form and put.

We/I believe we were mis sold the ppi on the above account number.
We were told to look on this as a savings plan and that we could get the cashback overtime.

What we/i were not told was that this ppi would, after the cashback still be on the loan to term end with interest.
We/i believe we were not given enough information on this ppi to make an informed decision. Had we/i known the full cost of this ppi we would not have taken it.

Norton have said the recording of me/us agreeing to the ppi, knowing the full cost and implications is corrupt, i/we would like proof of this.
I would like to listen to the recording of one of us saying that,

" we will take this ppi,it is good to know that it is a loan on a loan and we will pay interest on this to term end even when the ppi has run the 60 month we will then have no cover"

Unless you can prove without doubt that this PPI policy was fair, reasonable and suitable for my/our circumstances we/I will require you to rearrange the loan as if PPI had never been included on the aforementioned loan.

    Enclosed response from Norton.

Seems the way to go, its weird how they seem to have covered everything in their letter and make you feel that this is the end of the matter,
should i send the full reply from them to the FOS.
