santander are dealing with this, but when i emailed this address originally they said this address was for santander accounts not g e capital. Very confusing.

Right, so we need GE money then? is that correct?:D;)

I hope GE money responds to this for you now, tell them you have received the decision through Santander, to make sure they go through the correct route here.

Ask them to confirm this have been received, then I would also let Santander know by email that you have sent a further letter to GE Money as well.

Anyone would think i have had a payout,.... and i haven't but i have had a call! lol

Right quick run down as its a bit of a tricky dicky one, I got a complaint with Halifax, i first wrote to them in January so its been going on a while, kept getting standard letters etc etc.
I sent them an email last thursday and today had a phone call whilst at work from a lovely lady called Lynn who couldnt have been anymore helpful.

She basically said although i had a lot of complaints re other charges, way id been treated by the bank as a whole she could not deal with them all but would pass it over and then i had to wait 5 days for a reply, then she said, " tell you what ill say i had it last thursday when you initially sent it, eventho i didn't get it till today, and then that means they only have 3 days to reply to you" I was most impressed at this point with my mate Lynn :rotfl:

^^ That is all to do with Reward accounts etc fees and on it goes

Anyway i did put in a claim for ppi on a credit card, its not going to amount to much, the top limit is £1500 and ive only had it since 2006 and its ranged from £6 per month to £13 a month just before i cancelled it. She apologised sooo much for how i have been treated and i made sure i was uber nice to her on phone too thanking her for her time
She said she couldnt give me a deffo time date etc but it wouldnt be long as it was " redress and with calculations" can someone tell me what these words means in regards to all these things please?

ppppsssstttt.. Meant to also say, she apologies lots as i said but said it was simply because of how much work they had on ..... awwwww diddums lol but that eventho i had cancelled it aaaages ago she would make sure the interest was added to the day they send anything and not the say of my letter back in jan etc xx

id seen some conkers behind a bike shed! but no owners to be seen! perhaps they were used! pmsl :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

that does sound good

and if they said or your mate Lynn said they are at the redress & calculations stage, that more or less would mean they are adding it all together plus interest to what they need to refund you

so fingers crossed your be using these soon :T:)

I did just edit some bits, thing is i have no idea exactly how much im expecting which i know is a bit pants but i ought to have a figure really didnt i? do i need to thru statements etc you think?

Had confirmation from Tesco, Santander and Lombard (RBS) yesterday that they are all upholding my complaints!!! Out of the 6 I have complained to, 5 have been upheld, still waiting on BOS, but they have told me that I have to wait until September for a response!!

So happy!! Mr Martin Lewis should be knighted!!!

Finally.... after several phone calls, letters and emails I got through to someone at EGG for both my Credit card and Loan. Hopefully this has now set the ball in motion...

They will or should give you a detailed break down of your refund and to be honest most of the big banks get this right so unless you think its a little to low, no need to go though it all and can spend more time getting my dinner ready :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
