Oh yes, i have the tools to go with the chitter chatter but would you know how to use it ;) and then to handle it! lol :rotfl::rotfl:

OMG when did this thread go R18

trust me spelling is not a problem, i cant spell and my parents spent thousands on me getting though PE didnt work ;):D:rotfl:

£10 that must be your SAR details, yes have a read though that lot over a coffee and just make notes of the ppi payments made, add them up and then you will have 8% interest too, so a little soon becomes alot :D

Ill have some pop im not a coffee lass, enough bad habits without adding that one!

I take it now you are full of advice that you have claimed and heard back already regarding everything of yours?

There are lots of different reasons for being mis sold, this can be anything from:

Not knowing you were paying for the PPI/added without your knowledge. (Even though you may have signed up for it, you may have been told its all part of the package).

    Or:
Pre medical conditions at the time of taking out the policy, so if you were to make a claim for sickness for a condition you already had when you taken out the policy, they will not pay out for that particular condition.

You may have been pressurised into taking it out and told no ppi then no loan etc.

    Or:
It may have been one of those front loaded policies where they do not cover for the life of the loan, so for example, a loan over 25 years, the policy only covered for 5 of those years, then after 5 years have gone the ppi has ended but your still paying for it for the term of the loan.

They may not have explained about the policy, or that it would be added to the loan as one single payment.

If you and a partner had a joint loan, the ppi would probably only protect the first applicant, this is not fair on the 2nd applicant because they stil have responsibilities of the loan.

If you were self employed, this may not cover you, or if worked less than 18 or 16 hours a week.

But always try checking out the policy details, if you no longer have them, the businesses will supply them free of charge.

Also check the checklist for further details......

Thanks for all your help. xx:j On reading a copy of the agreement it also says in bold "remember to add account cover to your application- it gives you peace of mind!" Surely this is reminding you to tick the box?

    Your very welcome.:A Xx

Yes good point, if you want to add anything further to that letter, then please do, please also keep me posted and ask them to confirm receipt of your email, good luck.

    Thanks anyway.

Its still so blurry... how can i get the paper work to back up my claim? And do i need too?

Check the list I done on the above post, and if any of them apply to you then go for it, sometimes its a matter of your word against their own if there is no concrete evidence as such, but as long as you have the account numbers, you do not have to worry so much of the paperwork.
