PPI Reclaiming successes and failures

Well, I am currently waiting for a call back at some point today.
I spoke to a claims team adviser and shockingly, he didn't understand the impact of the PPI payments suffering additional interest whilst they were added to my card balance and why I was suggesting that simply refunding premiums and adding 8% simple interest certainly does not mean that I haven't been disadvantaged.
When I told him that I had paid 36 Credit Card payments as per my credit report and they have offered me a refund of only 9 premiums, he said he would get someone to look at that, and also the extra interest query.
He has since called me back and told me to whom he has passed my query and that they will call me back later and get this, there is apparently a team, including a supervisor looking at it.
Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence tbh :rotfl:
One thing is for sure, they now know that it is futile to try and 'get one over me', so I would imagine they will now want rid of IANC
I even had to explain the effect of compounding to him, and he is a claims handler :eek:I'm a secret crime fighter0 -
