Well, I am currently waiting for a call back at some point today.

I spoke to a claims team adviser and shockingly, he didn't understand the impact of the PPI payments suffering additional interest whilst they were added to my card balance and why I was suggesting that simply refunding premiums and adding 8% simple interest certainly does not mean that I haven't been disadvantaged.

When I told him that I had paid 36 Credit Card payments as per my credit report and they have offered me a refund of only 9 premiums, he said he would get someone to look at that, and also the extra interest query.

He has since called me back and told me to whom he has passed my query and that they will call me back later and get this, there is apparently a team, including a supervisor looking at it.

Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence tbh :rotfl:

One thing is for sure, they now know that it is futile to try and 'get one over me', so I would imagine they will now want rid of IANC :D

I even had to explain the effect of compounding to him, and he is a claims handler

makes you wonder if everyone had received their correct refund from all these banks and not just a random offer to keep us all quiet !!!

Hi All...and brilliant news that so many have had their claims upheld!!!! Congratulations to everyone...happy shopping over the summer.....

Sorry to be a pain, but am about to send a SAR to Barclays....I have 2 addresses...one in Leics...another in Knutsford...can someone here point me in the right direction..please?

Am a bit nervous about this one, 'cos I bank with them, and so say that I have little faith there, would be an understatement.....

    Thanks

    Another success here................well 3!!

Had confirmation from Tesco, Santander and Lombard (RBS) yesterday that they are all upholding my complaints!!! Out of the 6 I have complained to, 5 have been upheld, still waiting on BOS, but they have told me that I have to wait until September for a response!!

So happy!! Mr Martin Lewis should be knighted!!!
