This is the email I recieved from Aviva today
Thank you for your emails dated 19 and 20 July 2011.

I would advise that we are currently awaiting information from Welcome Finance and that we have issued a reminder to them today. I would explain that we need this information in order that we can comment regarding the sale of your policies.

    Kind regards

not sure from this if going to be good or bad

Try not to worry, they need the info to fully complete the investigation, when they say comment that is highly likely the decision.:) x

Arh right I've got you now.
Maybe then because it's going through Aviva the insurer it may differ on how they do this perhaps.
I have one ongoing with the insurer/underwriter with the FOS at the moment and its been a difficult one so far and not as straight forward as it have been directly with brokers.

Ian, your certainly on the right track with this hon and yes I agree that would be a good idea.:T
Go and get em hon, let us know how you get on.

I'm actually quite nervous this afternoon, received an email from the Adjudicator and he is to email his opinion tomorrow afternoon on a case that have been with them for some time, well almost 3 years , a complexed case though, so if its not ruled in my favour, it's off to the ombudsman for a full review.:o:D;).

    Good luck x

Yes, I will certainly give them Hell tomorrow.

Best of luck to you as well x

    Hi,

I know someone on here was lucky with Aviva re a Welcome loan recently, but they came back to me after their 15 working days and turned me down flat on all 3 loans with a load of right twaddle regards them not being responsible and the policy covering self employed (but totally ignoring the part about having been pressure sold the PPI "take the PPI or you dont get the loan")

So I've sent the lot off to FOS, it'll take an age but at least I'm not giving iin without a fight!

Congratulations to all who have got their PPI back!

I am sorry for being a bit dim, but who is the adjudicator?? Is he/she working for the FOS or do u have to appeal to them before going to the Ombudsman?

Hey your not dim, all this was new to us all once upon a time.:D;)

When you complain to the FOS it goes to a queue for the Adjudicator, which is the first stages, if this fails, such as if your not happy with the decision, or the bank does not agree with the Adjudicators decision, from there it's the ombudsman.
So whatever the ombudsman says goes. The banks must comply then. x;)
